No min spend required, sad for the delivery guys

Why sad? The drivers are getting paid regardless if min or no min spend. If anything this is good for them, more trips to earn $

      • I'm wondering if I can become a delivery driver, setup a VPN at home and place 50 individual orders for a pen.

Pick up pen, wait a couple of minutes, VPN back to home so my location shows as the delivery location, wait a couple of minutes more then disconnect and am ready for my next "delivery".

        • They are probably hiring their own drivers hence the 10 limit and they’ll go out in batches. I doubt the drivers are paid per delivery like with Uber or food delivery ect

    12.2km and 15.4km…. damn

    • Where in Sydney do you live that your nearest OW is 12km away?

      • +1

How are you working out that they're in Sydney?

        • +3

Same way that I know you're from Sydney. Clicked on their/your name. It says: Location: Sydney

      You got ripped off…

      I just ordered this.

      • You should made 10 separate order for that.

      • @jv That's a bargain.

      • +10

Not quite. You paid 3.125 cents per square cm of rubber. Jaduqimon got much better value at 2.667 cents per square cm.

        • By that logic they should buy the entire factory stock. WAY cheaper per cc

        • +1

I thought size didn't matter. jv's rubber is the real deal.

      • +3

        nah bro you got ripped

        your one dimension 40x10x20 = 8000mm^3

        mine is 60x10x30 = 18000mm^3

2.25 the volume for less than double the price.

      • +10

it's cheaper to just not make mistakes

      • He needed his rubber in large size

  • +13

    This just feels wrong

  • Do we know who they use to deliver these? Surely not in house?

    • +3

      Doordash

    • It’s called DoorDash

    • Surely not in house?

      Nope… Outsourced

  • +6

Important to add that this is free until 31 August 2024

    • +1

    • If you prefer snail mail, then sure :)

Note that by abusing the promotion, they're less likely to offer it in the future.

I want one "Pentel E-Ball Retractable Ball Pen 0.7mm Black" delivered within 2hrs plz for free

  • do they do price matches over the phone? :C

Wanted to know if Officeworks price matches (sold by) amazon au? Someone on ozbargain said they did it before but why do each stores differ?

Logitech G PRO X Superlight 2 Wireless Mouse Black

    Office works - $299

    Amazon - 189

nvm, I found it on their page.

    Can you price match online?
No, you cannot price match items online. You can only price match in store at your local Officeworks store or by calling 1300 OFFICE (633 423).

Defeats the deal because you cant do delivery and only pick up

    • I’ve managed to price match with Amazon in the past by phoning them and getting it delivered
But ofc I’m not too sure if you can get it to stack with this deal

T&C says eligible stores only. It's not available at all stores nation wide. You can bet for sure that means only capital city stores. Ones with their own local delivery courier service using one of these trucks i'd say.

    https://www.alamy.com/side-view-of-an-officeworks-delivery-t…

    • Yup. Mine doesn't do it and I'm not in a capital city.

3.5hrs later…… Office Works Caroline Springs Vic is a fail.

I used to live in that suburb years ago. Too far to go to anywhere and takes longer time on the road. It's colder too during winter and outside summer. That's why I prefer to live in CBD …

    Thanks OP.

There are 8 stores within 10 km of my home according to google maps :) Good to check stocks in other stores if not available in certain stores :)

Just ordered from OW with free delivery 2 hour door delivery and this is really convenient and handy, don't have to dress up and drive go through the traffic, getting someone to deliver right at your door and need it urgently too. Thanks for posting this OP.

    • Only problem is what if they accidentally deliver it to the wrong address.
