Novoo has discounted the RG68 from $39.99 to $31.58 (21% off). To get the $28.42 price, you need to apply the code NOVOOSAVE10 at checkout.
(Single use per account. Code valid till September 8 – extended from Sep 1)

The Novoo RG120 (120W total, 100W single port, includes 2x USB cable, PPS 3.3V - 21V 5A) is also discounted. $69.99 - 26% off coupon = $51.79 - 10% NOVOOSAVE10 = $44.79.

I have tested The RG68 and RG120 for TechRadar (link at the bottom) and they are both great quality. (Avoid the 67W RG67)

Novoo RG68
(NCAU67D-257H on Amazon but the RG68 on the box and Novoo website)

Includes two 100W USB-C cables. (1.5m and 1m length)
Ports: 2x USB-C 1x USB-A

Single port Output:
USB-C1/C2: 5V⎓3A or 9V⎓3A or 15V⎓3A or 20V⎓3.35A 67.0W Max
USB-A: 5V⎓3A or 9V⎓2A or 12V⎓1.5A or 10V⎓2.25A 22.5W Max

Multi-port Output:
USB-C1 + USB-C2: 45W Max + 20W Max
USB-C1 + USB-A: 45W Max + 18W Max
USB-C2 + USB-A: 10W + 10W
USB-C1 + USB-C2 + USB-A: 40W Max + 10W + 10W

My testing shows it supports PPS 3.3V – 11V at 5A. This means it does Samsung SFC 2.0 up to 45W and Pixel 9 charging up to 27W (but not the full 37W, which needs PPS up to 21V). The RG120 does full 37W Pixel 9 Pro XL charging.

Novoo RG68 manual

You can read more about my testing (I ran the RG68 and RG120 at full output for 24+ hours and monitored the temp) or look at pics comparing the charger size in my TechRadar writeup about the RG68. There are also some links to other charger and Novoo deals.

    *Dons jv hat.

    Is this a genuine Novoo?

    Here’s a Novoo idea – get a 65W Anker instead.

    • +2

You know JV too well 🤣

    • +1

You will compromise his 20-posts-a-day streak.

  • One benefit of Novoo RG67 is that it supports OPPO/OnePlus's SuperVOOC, which alot of third party charger don't support.

    • Yeah – that is why I bought the RG67. (SuperVOOC testing)

It's not a bad charger for the $24.28 price with the code – if you are aware of the limits at full output. And for example just running a laptop, the average power draw (30W or so) is not enough to cause it to throttle, even with peaks up to full output.

But for $4 more, the RG68 is much better IMO unless you need SuperVOOC.

  • Thanks OP - got one.

  • RG68 OOS

    • Shows up as in stock for me. Maybe just briefly OOS?

      • It show Model: NCAU67D-257H

        It's that RG68 or RG67?

        • Excellent point. The ‎NCAU67D-257H is the RG68.

The box says RG68 and I am sure the Amazon listing used to.

I will update the description for this deal to avoid confusion. And email Novoo about it.

  • @Prong are these (third party) chargers significantly better than standard phone chargers from OEMs?

    • +1

It depends on the OEM charger. Third party chargers won't always have the exact right spec needed for the fastest charging compared to an OEM charger. But as long as they meet the spec needed, then they are just as good.

Third party chargers often have more features (extra USB ports for example) or higher wattage, which is useful if also charging a laptop. The third parties often also put more effort in making a compact charger.

That said, most of the unknown brand chargers on Amazon are best avoided. Novoo seems pretty good.

      • Thanks mate. Love your work. Does higher wattage changing degrade battery life faster?

        • A little bit, in theory. But the peak of the fast charge wattage is when the battery is best able to handle the charge rate. And it's only done when the battery is cool enough, and the charge rate is reduced if hot.

Google is relatively conservative with the peak fast charge rate so I would not expect it to create appreciable extra wear to the battery.

I haven't seen any tests that specifically try and do accelerated wear testing though.

  • I just ordered a 3-pack of USB-C to USB-C cables last night from Amazon! LOL Might still get this regardless. Thanks!

  • Besides price, how does this compare against Anker https://www.amazon.com.au/Anker-Charger-3-Port-MacBook-Galax…

    • I have both. The Novoo RG68 is smaller and does PPS 5A vs 3.25A for the Anker A2667.

The Anker does PPS up to 16V, but that's not enough for 37W Pixel 9 Pro XL charging.

The Novoo meets the spec for 45W Samsung SFC 2.0. The Anker does not, but should do up to 35W.

Anker is a much more well known brand and the trust factor is higher.

Overall they will both charge most other phones at the same or similar speed. The same goes for most laptops.

  • Any issue using this in Europe (with a simple plug adapter)?

    • +1

      No issue at all.

  • Is the promo code only available one time? I bought one and wanted to buy a second after seeing how nice it is, but the promo code is not accepted the second time.

    • Single use per account unfortunately.
