I found the Black Truffle with Australian Sea Salt at the Woolworths…

Doesn't taste as good as the other brands but Torres brand I had didn't taste good as well

      I found their chilli seems to have (at least somewhat) reverted to original level of spiciness. These truffle chips, however, taste of pure onion & garlic powder. Disappointed.

    I don't buy fancy chips anymore because I've been disappointed by the flavours (except for the Tyrrell's double thick ones, love those).
    Does anyone have recommendations for ones they think are worth getting? I'd love to try them

        Thanks for that, I'll give them a go. I'm always disappointed by the usual Honey Soy Chicken chips so I'm keen to try that one

        @brommo - The newish Red Rock Deli Smoked Chipotle and Honey flavour is absolutely garbage in my opinion, I was extremely disappointed when I tried it… I bought a bag the week it was released and after a handful I put it on the team food table at work to share with the rest of my colleagues because I didn’t like and want it. The Kettle Sensations Chipotle and Manuka Honey flavour available between roughly 2016-2019 tasted much better:

          I remember that one! I honestly don’t mind the red rock chipotle, it’s a helluva lot better than the new kettle creations though!

      If you like truffle flavour, then you could try the Orion Turtle truffle chips. We get them from Coles every now and then.

      Hunters Gourmet Black Truffle. Only 125g and a little more expensive than Red Rock\kettle but they are super fine!

      Another alternative is hitting Asian grocery stores and delving into all the weird Lays flavours that are about. I had a wasabi one that was alright a while back.

    This new trio of flavours was a bit disappointing. Especially the Applewood Smoked Butter & Salt.

    Red Rock have come up with some cracker flavours recently, like Malaysian Beef Rendang - amazing.

    Kettle still has the best salt and vinegar though!

      The truffle also tasted of garlic salt…. WTF…

      Im struggling to finish the Angus Beef with caramelised onion…

        Spot on.

        There wasn’t much going on in the truffle chips in the way of truffle flavour. The Aldi truffle chips on the other hand I think are pretty good.

    I very much enjoyed the Applewood smoked butter and will buy some more this week, but I must be missing out as for me all of the new flavours or naming is just tweaks and twists on the core flavour profiles. Eg Applewood smoked butter is not that much different from is core - sea salt flavoured. Don't remember the last time I tasted a chip that seemed new and not just a tweak on core flavours.
