good timing, my friend is planning to go bali tomorrow however can you just buy the Telkomsel Indonesia eSIM so dont need to do this passport activation and use this sim for bali?

Wanted to compare to the really old Starhub roaming deals, found out they now have an eSim tourist for SGD12 with 100Gb, 14 days and 3gb roaming as well to quite a few APAC countries.
