Saw the VIC deal for James Boag's tried my luck in NSW and its cheaper than VIC. Used to be my favourite Tassie Lager, haven't tried for many years, hope its still as good.

    Mainland stock on shelves unlikely to be affected - yet.
    Announcement 2 months ago was they will shift production (in future).

    Boags was the beer for Northern Tas, with Cascade in the South. Regional loyalty to a beer is disappearing. Most are brewed by multinational companies.

    Once most production is moved away from Tas, local production may eventually close.

    Of course Govt subsidies to keep it operating in Tas - will be appreciated by Lion (subsidiary of Japanese beverage conglomerate Kirin)💰

    With just the Boags Visitor Centre left in Launceston.
