it was $8 or $9 per kg not long time ago for a while. I just can't find the PZB post. And it is the same price $10 now at Coles

Price is currently $8/kg for both half and full leg roasts in WA, went down on Friday 23/8.
@RichardF89: They do but they also do end of week price changes, especially in meat and especially in lamb as we get into Spring lambing season the market prices change and then the supermarkets drop their prices. Same thing happened last August (and September) and the year before that.
I was just thinking the exact same thing
I was making big batches of mexican pulled lamb for work lunches/dinners (I'm a shiftworker) earlier this year and I remember lamb leg roasts being around $8 /kg
Then the price went back up a bit so I swapped to pork leg/shoulder for pulled pork because it was at $8/kg for a few months

Coles have at this price for the past 2-3 weeks. Bought a fair few of these to store in the freezer.
Down to $8 last week for markets (NSW, SA and WA at least) that had it at $10 previously.

Could you put the whole piece in a slow cooker with some veg and stock and turn it into a casserole type dish? (Breaking the meat with a couple of forks after it’s been slow cooked)?
Of course you can. Put the leg on a couple of hours before the veg to make sure it doesn't klingon to the bone.
