Last post was 20% off & only expired 10 days ago. Also the Rep agreed it was a free ad & apologised yet here we are again.

    Say no to OzFreeAdvertising.

Groundhog Father's Day - no thank you.

I can only wear so many socks!

Yes agreed. Their words, it's an ad. And the sale isn't really a sale when it's virtually on repeat regularly.

I agree.. just looking over their history and it’s the same 20% off a week apart. At this point it is looking like this is the regular price…

We shouldn’t be a captive box for reps to just post the same shit over and over because they bought an e-book from some Fartbook marketing group that told them OzBargain is a soft target for advertising.

What they don’t say in these “entrepreneur leadership programs” is just how much brand damage this type of marketing does. Very short term gain for long term misery and potential permanent or year long term bans from posting.

I say let them spamvertise their goods, because the more they do it, the more chances we have to vote and send a message that we don’t like advertising for the sake of advertising.

As per above, this is just another ad, just as the rep said as per their last post!!

      This.

Using OZB for advertising. No thanks

  • Might be worth worrying about an IP issue there OP

Surely you can't copyright the galaxy that we live in

    • While I can see the angle you are coming from, it’s a bit of a stretch. Different font. Different colours. Entirely different product. One is a product name, the other is a company name.

Now, if OP started making or selling chocolate bars and calling them “Milky Way bars”, that might attract the ire of some IP owners.
