  • Dual motor is good

Not a bad desk at all for that price

Good desk. I recently bought the 140cm version with white frame, dual motor and wireless charger for $375:

Don't buy from Harvey Norman Online, if you get a defective product which I got when I ordered the above table , it took 60 emails and a wait of 1 month to get it returned

    • It says online only. Would it be the same price in store?

  • Bought this exact model from HN during the $369 deal period.
    No complaints.
Easy enough to install, feels solid.

Would this table be able to hook up dual monitor arms (via clamp method)?

Are there any other brands with genuine wood top finish for a more premium feel/aesthetic that anyone can recommend? Can spend up to $800 for a quality desk.

Try Desky they have some good electric desk around that price range

It's particle board so I would clamp with a piece of solid wood to prevent bending. Find something with bamboo top or solid timber top would be stronger, more expensive though

      • Happy to spend a few extra bucks for a quality timber/wooden construct table as opposed to a laminate or particle board. Open to any recommendations. Had a quick google search and there's a heap of options online. Was hoping someone with a bit more knowledge could chime in recommend a few good reputable brands/models.

I have a Desky dual motor desk with 2000x750 solid rubber wood top (walnut finish). Bought it during Covid, the delivery was a bit slower than hoped (about a week at that time) but otherwise a fantastic desk, love it, highly recommended.

I have a lot of gear on it, including 3 monitors on arms, studio audio monitors, audio mixer etc. Motor has never missed a beat.

  • Would you be able to chuck out the desk and put your own top in this?

    • yea, but you'll be better off buying just the legs only for 1/2 that price

i think this standing desk leg deal is still the best, adding a 80 dollars hard wood desktop from bunnings gets you a solid 180cm wide desk at around 250, diy skill requirement is very minimum.

i made 3 of these at home.

  • Not bad. I got a 160cm version off eBay with dual motor. Ordered the tabletop and legs separately with eBay discount to get it to $350 delivered.

  • Isn't 70 as the lowest setting too high? I struggle with 66 on my desk, its not low enough.

    • It depends on your chair I think. Mine is comfortable at 70
