I've had one for about a year. It's very bright in turbo mode and plenty bright in high mode. It has a fairly wide throw, which I quite like. I had a SP31 Pro before, which had a very focused beam. This one is noticeably a lot brighter, and the wider throw makes it more practical IMHO.

  I was looking at buying this, but went with the Wurkkos TS22 from their official AliExpress Store for $53+GST (cheaper with all the coupons and cashbacks at the moment):

  For only a little bit more, TS22 seems like a torch better suited for my requirements.

    Perhaps that is a better buy for a few dollars more if you’re happy to buy from AliExpress. But my experience with them was quite poor; once, a package was lost and it took months to get a refund. Another time, they sent the wrong item. Their shipping is also quite slow, so I stopped using them a while back. I’d rather spend a few dollars more for fast shipping and much better better customer service from Amazon. But I know there are lot of happy AliExpress customers out there, I'm not one of them…

      Their shopping experience has improved quite a bit since the old days. Especially if you pick their Choice service. Items usually arrive in 2 weeks or less. I have had wrong items or broken items delivered but have managed to get my refunds. But these are in the minority rather than the majority.

      The TS22 is also on sale on Amazon, $60 with their 25% off coupon.

      It's still slightly more expensive than the SP35T and more expensive than AliExpress.

      I don't have either torch (just ordered the TS22 a few days ago), but reading the reviews and the specs, I feel comfortable with the extra cost.

    Good discounts are certainly harder to find but most Sofirns are cheap expensive, not expensive cheap. Quality manufacture, parts, regulation etc. A decent 21700 battery alone will set you back $13-18+ plus delivery

      No argument there , Sofirn are great quality torches .
      But they are now like twice the price from a year or so ago .
