Digital Piano Sales - Anyone Know What Time of The Year to Look?

Hi all, I'm in the market for a Roland FP-30X digital piano.

The current pricing for that model is $880 across Australia.

Does anyone know when digital pianos typically go on sale? What type of discount can I expect from Piano sellers; and is it likely that model would go on sale between now and 31 December?

I think $880 it's a great price for the FP30X, I've got mine in August 2022 and paid $1149 for it. BTW it's a great piano

  • I've been hesitating on this model for close to 2 years now and have only seen it go on sale once here

Perhaps previous posts and comments may help.

  • I bought mine in May last year for $889 which was sale price at the time - maybe the RRP is coming down because of new models on the horizon but it was usually retailing for $1100+ last year.

Great piano to get started on. You could also check marketplace for 2nd hand, now and then some cheap ones came up as students moved to more advanced models or gave it up lol.

  • @w37hsyea I am also deciding on the Roland FP-30X too, it's currently $829 on Amazon in case you missed it. Price for the past year here.

  • I happen to look for Roland digital piano lately nad found this topic.
The price for FP30x is now around $740. What about the stand and the padel? The price you guys mentioned are only for the keyboard or include them? Thanks.
