About

Circonomy is a certified social enterprise on a mission to create a world without waste - including human potential.

Our "surprise chain" brings us a variety of quality products from the dormant stock of partnering suppliers and businesses, which includes items from previous seasons, overstock, or products that have been discontinued from their core range for example. These items might otherwise go unused or, worse, end up in landfill.

Our unique model gives these products a second life in a sustainable way, allowing us to offer them to you at more affordable prices. This approach not only helps prevent waste but also provides our customers with quality goods at lower prices.

Nope! These are brand new and were custom made for a cruise ship, however were no longer needed. Instead of laying dormant in their warehouses, they've made their way to us to find new homes.

@Karl Pilkington your Dad could have done with two of these instead of sawing the mattress in half innit

Either that or he'd just nick some from a phone box

  • What cruise ship has 190cm mattresses? Even 195cm I would have toes off the bottom with head pressed up against the wall. Need to make sure I never go on that ship (not that i'm likely to be on a cruise at any stage)

    • Tbh it's not really the length that's the issue, these are as narrow as 79cm - then you have sheets/blankets on either side. Would be like sleeping in a straitjacket.

I'm 189cm and if I lay down with my feet pointed (eg stomach sleeper) then I'm over 195cm. Plus you cant sleep with your head pressed right up against the headboard, so add a few cm and I'm off the mattress from ankles down. Width isnt that much of an issue to me

I would understand if this is a mattress for an overnight train or bus; you have narrow and short beds and I've done plenty. But a cruise ship?

        • i'm guessing crew quarters. tough titties me matey

        • It's a standard single/twin size and double beds aren't any longer. Most cruise ships have these? (unless you upgrade to a room with a queen)

You need to remember most people:
          - Aren't 189cm
          - Laying fully horizontal on their stomach
          - Would consider 79cm too narrow

no one's making mattresses that cater to someone 189cm as standard, let alone someone who sleeps on their stomach

surprised natural selection hasn't weeded you out lol

    • Standard single and double mattresses are only 188cm long.
