Edit: Removed the word new, as I have tried this and it works with my renewal as well, however I did request for a quote, and retrieve my account, which gives me additional discounts for loyalty and online purchase.

I hope this helps with the increasing living cost.

PS: there is also no extra cost for choosing monthly installment over annual installment

  Checked against Australia Post (QBE) for my car insurance and its $350 more thru NRMA for 12 months? Stay with Aust Post for now!

    That has been the pattern so far as I always check before renewing,
    however this time, I found it cheaper to apply as a new policy.

  Even compared to RAA, NRMA are hundreds more expensive per policy. $100 wont cut it.

  i tried quote AAMI, it is $800 cheaper.
  NRMA quoted $1600
