honestly, a small VB is pretty much my ideal beer

    • Negged for having a correct opinion. The world has gone mad

You should know by now that drinking small amounts of alcohol is both uncool and very un-Australian.
Here, have a positive for being man enough to say what you really like.

This guy negged you - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ns15eHLDv1I

    • Gave you an upvote mate - dunno why people are negging you..

I didnt think 250ml twisties were still available.

  • +8

250 ml - more time spent opening than drinking !!

    • i hate VB but at the same time there's so little of it there

      angry upvote

  • I used to love throw-downs as a kid! I didn't know they still made them as I don't think I've ever seen them in QLD.

Just buy it and let the date lapse for quite a while, hopefully it might improve the flavour.

    250ml?….WTF

From 375ml to 330ml and now 250ml…these liquor companies are pulling a Cadbury on us.

    • +3

You do know that not only are 375ml are still sold, but also 750ml right?

      • +1

No, I didn't. Thank you for correcting me.

In general though, lot of companies have reduced packaging size in last few years.

        • This size beer has been around for decades, (Throwdown) it’s hard to find now. I used to buy the tooheys version 30yrs ago.

    • The VB hand grenades have been around for decades.

Ahhhh, the good old throw-downs. I drank hundreds of these about 40 years ago when I was underage, and haven't had a single one since I turned 18. I should get the old gang together and drink them down at the local park in the middle of winter till 1am like the good old days, I don't think anyone would turn up :) .

    • Haha they were the days indeed!

    • this is the way

    A thimble of beer.

Do not buy from this business. Your beer will take 3-4 weeks to be delivered & therefore be expired before you even get them.
I experienced this issue when I purchased their last 'deal' online.
Very poor customer service as well.
    Avoid

Thanks for the ⚠️ warning ⚠️

Is that why they call themselves a cartel?

      cartel: (noun)
an association of manufacturers or suppliers with the purpose of maintaining prices at a high level and restricting competition.
      "the Colombian drug cartels"

We always love your witty banter @jv! Thanks as always for the comments ;)

    • Sorry to hear you didn't have great experience @genes888 - if you could provide some more colour to [email protected] we'd happily look into it. We send out thousands of cases each month and sometimes we just don't get it right. Sorry if thgat was the case here.

  • Vomit bomb

  • Seems like an interesting new craft beer

    Anyone tried it?

  • +3

Works out to be $58.50 for the same amount if it were in 375ml bottles, which is roughly the same price as local bottle-o's with fresher stock. And that's not factoring in delivery.
You guys have had some much better deals in the past, like the 500ml VB and 250ml VX ones. Looking forward to more deals like those.

Thanks @melbourne guy - we send them the Oz Bargin way when they are best in market. Sorry this didn't pique your interest. We'll keep on the hunt.

      Cheers

  • VB isn’t too bad. Better than Carlton

    • Better than Carlton

Anyone is better than Carlton (except maybe the Eagles)

  • Geez, 250ml. Does one daintily raise their little finger whilst imbibing?

  • Not sure about the beer, but this is the right size, nice and cold from start to end. Much better than flat and warm beer by the time you get to the end.
