I bought this 4 years ago and one of the motors only recently busted. But Amazon gave me a full refund. Back then I bought it for $158. So inflation has put this up, but still better than original $289 price
Black is available for $223.99 https://amzn.asia/d/59CXENh
I only just bought a different watch winder last week https://amzn.asia/d/02tF2T4. But I have a soft spot for this classic design.

Have an option for either or both
Which is better I was supposed to ask
I choose option 3 which is to rotate both sides. In my head it keeps a balance on how the spring winds..
Probably doesn't mean much in real world lol@maverickjohn: lol yeah makes sense
@maverickjohn: It very much matters because some watches only have unidirectional winding whereas others will wind in either direction.
@galtaforce: Most of them are bidirectional in nature. But you are right about some being unidirectional.
If the option for both I just choose both
https://watch-winder.store/watch-winding-table/
This gives you the brands recommended rotation.
But thanks for highlighting it.
Miyota 9xxx and 8xxx movements are unidirectional.
@ilikeit: Oooft I actually have never owned a citizen auto.. probably explains why I've never worried. All mine have been both directional
These are quality winders. I have the 4 watch winder and its been great.
I have one of these, it can do both clockwise or counterclockwise. The build quality is premium, and I highly recommend it.
Hey just curious, how could you let Amazon refund you after four years? I had a faulty device from Amazon us and they told me after 60 days, I could only seek help from the manufacturer and they couldn’t do anything about it
Not sure honestly.. it could be just luck.
I actually wanted to find out how to repair it.. but they said they could only refund it..Thanks for replying. After 4 years of usage, do you feel it would affect the accuracy of watches due to magnetic?
Honestly my seikos are the only watches that have been affected with time inaccuracies. My Ball, Longines. Frederique constant etc have been amazing.
Seiko for whatever reason just doesn't do well in winders for me. I seem to lose/gain time no matter what.
I should mention my other watches are all cosc certified. Which probably contributed to their accuracy.@maverickjohn: Have you checked your Seiko watches TPD setting requirements (see my post below)
@maverickjohn: Sounds like a Seiko.
be sure that the winder was the TPD rotation and movement settings for the watch(es) you internet to put on them. When I was looking into it, I found most of the no-brand and Chinese winders didn't. I don't believe its good for the watch if the wrong TPD settings are used.
I found this Australian site had options on Asian made winders that seem to fit my watches specs.
https://watchwinderworks.com.au/Category/WatchWinders
(I'm not affiliated in any way and didn't end up buying a winder)PS
do some research for TPD settings and you watch(es) type. From memory, the WOLF winder website has all the specs for the most common watches (rolex, omega, IWC etc etc)The link I put above has all the winder settings for each brand as well.
For reference tpd is times per day a watch winder turnsI think people may be over or under winding in a lot of cases. Here is the WOLF link, probably just shows the same as your link

The most important question is how QUIET is this?
Very quiet. But my new one is quieter
How did you get as full refund from axon after four years ?!
Check above response
Can’t believe you got a refund after four years of use. Legendary effort.
My theory is that the Amazon phone staff process so many returns or refunds that unless it is seriously egregious they just tick it off to get it out of the way. There has been a couple of times I've called Amazon about an issue and I haven't even had a chance to explain what the issue was before being offered a refund.
Rotate clockwise or counter clockwise
