      Synthetic fibres can be as warm as down/feather (depends on fill type - eg hollowfill, and product quality) but it's generally significantly bulkier and heavier. The BIG advantages are (1) price; (2) ease of cleaning; (3) syn filled products (jackets, vests, sleeping bags) stay relatively warm when wet. Down and feather are hopeless when wet.

    I've actually been wearing this lately and yes it doesn't keep you warm. You get what you paid for. I didn't buy this either. But for the price you can't complain, especially when worn over a nice hoodie hahaha
