  • I have a 12L and buying this 20L to try, which would be best for using to vacuum garage and car out of the two and which out of 12L and 20L for cleaning gutters and dirty/messy jobs?

  • I literally bought this for $78, 7 days ago, will Bunnings refund me the price difference?

    • +6

Usually not. Buy another one and return the new one with the old receipt, no questions asked.

  • Just bought 1, 2 left at Doncaster

  • Can it be used for leaves and outdoor branches?

I have used this to suck stink bugs off a citrus tree.
First I put an old sock over where the hose comes into the vacuum chamber, then just tied up the sock and threw it out.
Next I realised they can't swim, so just put a few inches of water in the bottom, then vacuumed them off the tree and they drowned.

  • How is it compare to kmart 1800W vaccumm for $49?

    • +3

Well for one it can't do wet

      • +4

        Well it can, once

  • Does it lose suction if you accidently block it?

I have this problem with my shopvac and i have to turn it off and wait until the motor spins down before starting it again.

I bought it as it was cheaper than hiring a vacuum from Kennards. Used it in roof to suck up 50 years of dust and crap before I put insulation down. As a bonus the stick/wand is perfect for pushing insulation into the edge of the roof.
Only issue was it was loud and easy to knock over. But hey for the price who can argue.

    • how did you put it in the roof space? how many bags did you fill

      • Just carried it, its not that heavy. I'm still on the first bag. This is my 3rd roof as my house is split levels.

  • Can you use this on wet carpet?

  • Has anyone used this with an extractor attachment to clean upholstery instead of using a specific spot cleaner? How did it perform?

Also, can anyone tell me what the inner-diameter is for attachments? I'm browsing Aliexpress, seeing what's available.

You really should read all the comments first.
Go back and have a look.

      • ya I did. I know people use shop vacs for that sort of thing, but wasn't sure how this (Ozito) vac performed doing those duties.

  • Is this good enough for vacuum carpet at home? Thanks

    • +1

Well yes, but too noisy and dusty.

  • Picked one up yesterday. Surprised how short the hose is. Has anyone managed to remove the existing hose and replace it with a longer one?

    • The manual shows 3 extension tubes. You got those?

      • Ya, got the tubes. Using the vac to clean floors is ok, but I mainly wanted it for the car. Having a longer hose would make it easier I think.

  • If you want something slightly smaller for easier storage, the 12L one is only $49. Seems decently priced too
