Taken from previous listing

Very similar to https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/855229, but with the additional quirk that you can mix & match from several different listings to get the variety and best prices for each. $12.43 per roll delivered is absurdly cheap (sorry Sidd!)

NOT ALL LISTINGS HAVE THE SAME ITEMS FOR THE SAME PRICE!
For example, the wood filament here(ebay.com.au) is $37.83, but the wood filament here(ebay.com.au) is $29.91 and they are BOTH eligible for the combo deal. You need to check all the listings if there are better double-ups.

I managed to get a wide variety of fancy filaments including a marble, wood, TPU, and some dual colour ones for about $120 delivered which unlike the 'Sunlu_Official' store will happily do free delivery to my rural address without a fuss, and they all still sent from the same 'G2/391 Park Road, Regents Park NSW, Australia' address as their other seller accounts.

You'll know the deal applies when your cart changes from 'save up to 30%' to 'Buy 5 get 3 free'. I think it only works with exactly 8 rolls in cart; more and it will swap back to the lesser 30% off.

Tip from @dabhbl: For those in WA, use these listings:

  • I've always bought SUNLU, but just did a big JAYO order as basically no SUNLU stock in any colours I wanted. Hopefully quality is similar.

    • Same here, gonna try JAYO and see if there's any differences.

      • +1

they are the same factory and will ship from the same place

  • I just went SUNLU because they had what I wanted in-stock.
    Got:
    1X Rainbow 01 Pla
    1X Marble Pla
    2X Clear Pla
2X Silk light gold Silk pla+
    4X Black Petg.
    All for $140.66

I found the rainbow takes too long to transition,

Give the dual & triple silks a go

      • Too late now.
The Duals and Triples do look really nice but they seem to be closer to $40 a roll.
Not putting in another 10 roll order till I start using these ones.
I wonder why clear PLA was so cheap as it was $25.04 per roll.
The Black PETG was just slightly cheaper at $24.34 each.

+1 for Rainbow taking way too long to transition, their photo vs reality.
Their model would need to be like 50cm to get through the transitions they show.

    • Thanks for this! Saved me another $10 in shipping :)

    • i still have to pay $15 for shipping, wdym…?
edit: looks like certain colours make u pay for shipping either way.

  • Looks like they don't post to Tassie but Jayo do.

With the links from my last Sunlu post:

For example, the wood filament here is $44.51, but the wood filament here is $35.20 and they are BOTH eligible for the combo deal. You need to check all the listings if there are better double-ups.

  • Thanks OP, went a bit bonkers with fancy filaments I haven't tried that I'll probably regret like the PLA glow in the dark ones (do they look as good during the day as their non-GITD equivalent colour?).

Was keen for PETG clear and finally found it with one of the multiple duplicate stores (do they really do this in case their rating drops below a certain level, and they can just close down that 'store'?)

    • yet to try the glow in the dark, use hardened nozzle since it's abrasive.

Might take a look at clear PETG next order too

PLA glow in the dark is an absolute treat, visually. It can be closer to a glow stick level of brightness!
If you have a UV torch handy, or like ~$6 from Ali, it charges up the filament almost instantly.
I use it, sandwiched between a much nicer filament (pla+2.0), as a text filament for things.

It's a MASSIVE pain in the butt to print with by itself, it's super brittle, melts at a low temp and has poor bed adhesion even on a PEI texture plate.
You'll need to dry and calibrate the heck out of it, which I get is normal, but I've gotten pretty used to the luxury of slotting a fresh siddament roll into the AMS, loading the print profile and just letting it rip!

Printed some Rainbow glow in the dark fairies for my nieces, and they absolutely loved them! :D

      • This is super helpful. Thanks!

      • You mix it with other filaments in the same job? I have a BL A1 and I am not sure if the ams lite can accommodate GitD PLA, and thus mix it with normal PLA?

And just like that another 20 rolls on their way that makes 56 full rolls and many open rolls. One day ill actually print something instead of buying filament.
