    100% recommended

I’d buy more but I have wayyyy too many random half or third spools building up now…

    • +1

110% recommended, also have too many spools waiting.

I used up random sized spools for Gridfinity boxes.

  • Thank you Impoze!

  • Could any suggest filament types suitable with the Flashforge.

I will mainly be printing brackets for pc parts, adapters for drill batteries (which I’m guessing need to be a bit stronger than pla?).

The nozzle included says - .4mm, TPU, PLA, PETG, ABS,,ASA.

Sorry, I know this is a newbie question but I only looked at 3d printers last night and you guys starting throwing up deals:-)

I have googled and I’m seeing conflicting info about what a printer can actually print vs what it’s listed as printing, and I’m yet to understand the correct filament for a job.

Start with PLA Meta & PETG.

For tools and things, you will want PETG for better durability in heat/sun.

ABS, ASA you will need enclosure & ventilation.

      • The reason I went SUNLU for my 10 rolls is because they have the Black PETG in stock.
Otherwise, I feel JAYO is slightly cheaper on some rolls.

      • Just a quick noobie question too, can BAMBU self detect the SUNLU/JAYO filament color and material? Or we will have to self adjust it once load the filament.

    • Our mate Sidd has tool brand coloured PETG if you're willing to pay more.

Mind you I'd get it all printing and settings down pat before you start relying on them to hold your batteries and wiring onto your tools.

META grey, red and green are cheaper from sunlu eBay when buying 10

      thanks, added to OP

    • But are they all from the same place though? :S

      • +1

        yeah

  • Doesn't ship to regional QLD.

  • Now we just need to figure out what to print with 10 rolls of filament :D

    • +1

With current generation printers, it's very easy to go through rolls.

  • Just a quick question fam, the plastic spool that comes with jayo is a little bit smaller than the bambu spool, can I just load the jayo spool on the ams or I'll need to transfer somehow??

    • +1

Yes or print out the sunlu AMS adapters for the larger diameter spools

  • Is this the same brand as sunlu? I use Sunlu meta and want to know if its the exact same or not? and anyone know if the jayo meta are cardboard spools or plastic?

    • Yes, most are plastic spools

  • Noticed they have a new PLA 2.0,

anyone tried or know what the difference is?

    • Received a response from JAYO:

Hi, thanks for the info. This is PLA+ version 2.0. It is an optimized upgrade from PLA+. Each reel is 1.1KG plastic bobbin. Thanks.

  • Looking at a bunch of PETG rolls.

Will different colours print the same ?

I’m not set on colours so would rather stick with trouble free filament. Some reviews users said black was fine but white was problematic or stick with sunlu for petg however considering the amounts of they sell these comments were not as regular as I’d have thought.

    • they should all print the same, just check the recommended temps on the labels
