As a warriors hater, I love this game. Really fun hack and slash and a lot of love put into turning this from a turned based to action RPG. Linear gameplay and none of the base capturing running back and forward between bases.
Personally, I don't think it works as a standalone as it feels more like a "thank you fans" game, "here is more of the gang to spend time with after P5"

got this game on the switch its very different from persona 5 royal. Story doesn't follow after royal either. Not an entirely bad game but its different gameplay
