I spoke to amazon as i keep getting the message “this is unable to be delivered to your address”, they are working on the issue so hopefully i can buy things soon. I can no longer purchase by changing my address as i have done in the past
Regional NSW here, same boat. If logged in, many items were in an "undeliverable area". So, I use to add to cart while not being logged in, then log in, and it would allow delivery.
That loophole is now closed as well. So 80-90% of my usual amazon orders are now in an "undeliverable area".
It makes prime membership basically not worth it, and it certainly means a lot of ppl will be cancelling their prime membership.
I would highly doubt that they will fix the issue, considering they went to the trouble of closing the loophole.
That's one of the reasons why many people want to stay in bigger cities.
For Amazon prime 🤣
@hamzie: Amongst many other things, yes. ;-)
Ffs this is so annoying. Hope they do fix it now that the workaround no longer works.
I doubt there is any 'issue' for them to work on. I think they are saving shipping by not sending things like this to regional areas.
Proof was that we had that work around, of course the item 'can' be shipped here, they just don't want to. So they've plugged that hole. What makes you think they'll work on fixing it heh
I live in metro area and some items I get the same error. I change to a parent's address which is just the suburb next door and it'll work fine. Very strange.
Matching Coles but S&S is a better deal
Thanks OP ordered. Bunnings have 5.4L for $27.68 @ $5.13 p/litre for those without prime.
Not deliverable to my address.
Says out of stock. The changing of address, will result in it showing as in stock, but unable to be delivered to my address.Wondering if Amazon prime is worth it anymore, since majority of things, I can no longer buy for delivery.
Add to it the adverts on Prime TV now and I may not renew once current membership expiresI am complaining to amazon at the moment in live chat.
very annoying.. I like prime but I won't renew if a lot of things cannot be sent here.Good luck with that. I wasted about 2hrs of my life that I will never get back trying to explain the issue. Went through 5 different reps and among other things was asked to add the item to my cart so that he could investigate the issue. Seriously a waste of time.
The last rep believed that my distributioon centre did not currently have stock, but I believe we share a distribution centre with family members who can get delivery. It's not just S&S items either and almost appears random on more and more items each day. For example Amazon will ship toothpaste to our postcode but wont ship tooth brushes. Not impressed at all.yeah, a real shame. no point renewing if this is how they treat us.
Amazon no longer ships a wide range of items (all S&S and many other items) to my address just outside a large regional city.
This is not a bug - it is their new policy.
They cancelled all my S&S orders.
I cancelled my prime - it is no longer worth it.
amazon tell me this item can't be shipped to my address cos it's a Hazardous Material https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/help/customer/display.html?ref_…
I mentioned some other things that can't get shipped to me and can get shipped elsewhere… they want to take it as feedback ;| and advise to get it delivered to 'another address that I have access to'
Does it taste good?
Soon governments will be forced to subsidise so that outliers aren’t cut off from this “essential service”
im not seeing S&S price, have they removed this now?
Long time lurker, just joined up to comment. I just cancelled my subscription too due to Amazon not shipping the vast majority of previous orders due to location, Dynamo being a prime example (pardon the pun). Hoping everyone else regional does the same, as what’s the point in subscribing if we can’t access what we want?
Regional is far more expensive to ship to, nothing Amazon can really do about that, unfortunately.
For them they would lose money offering it to regional areas given the weight of many of these types of items.
Just a fact of life and it always will be, and I grew up in regional Australia.
Best to stick with supermarket deals in regional areas for these types of products.
Thanks- needed a new bottle.
costco fab 6.6L $23 - great product since I made switch from dynamo
Didn’t give any option to buy?
This or Aldi laundry liquid?
One of the ratings agency says Aldi laundry powder @$4.99
4L bottles of laundry liquid at my Local Aldi are $10.69 everyday so I don't think it's worth the extra unless you need or want Dynamo for any particular reason. Washes our clothes fine and don't notice any different cleaning results or residue that would indicate any perceived lower quality
Perfect timing, thanks OP
