We're sorry to bother you at a time like this, Mrs. Twice. We would have come earlier, but your husband wasn't dead then.
You got something on the side of your mouth Al, no no the other side..
Now in color!!
I would buy this but I already have it
Cigarette?
Yes, I know.
"Who are you and how did you get in here?"
"I'm a locksmith… And I'm a locksmith."
One of my favourites from many brilliant lines in that show.
I have the most random (and creepy) item from Leslie, a framed clipping of his golden locks, with a signed Naked Gun cap with pin and his autobiography. Saw it on Gottahaveit auctions and felt compelled to buy it.
Funniest man alive and dead.
Oh nice. Been waiting on a deal for this, never watched it.
EDIT: noticed The Naked Gun 4K steelbook from my wishlist is on special too. Not as much but still. A good start to my Police Squad collection. https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CHWM9V6Q/
I can't believe there is a 4K version of The Naked Gun! I would have thought there would be minimal benefit going beyond DVD
US version currently around $45 which isn't on sale and includes digital code
Surely this isn't 4K quality…
It's not, and don't call me Shirley.
Outstanding sir
Not gunna lie, I'm a little salty the setup only got 4 upvotes!
Glad this is the complete series so I can start at the beginning, when the earth was a molten mass
"Married, one child, that didn't work out, so he married a grown woman"
"Sgts Book him and Take him away!"
Sgt Book him <shakes hand>
Sgt. Take him away <Shakes hand>
LOL
Missed it :(
Next wil be Blue Brothers series. Most efficient use of American cars to date.
There is no Blues Brothers TV series?
For years I thought it would be possible to flip a car forwards just by braking hard.
"In colour!!" - is it unusual for a TV show from 1982 to be in colour? I think colour had already been available for 7 years by this point.
lol
That’s a great observation! “Police Squad!” was indeed produced in the early 1980s, a time when color television was already the norm. The phrase “in color!” on the cover is likely a playful nod to an earlier era when color TV was a new and exciting feature. It adds a bit of retro charm and humor, which fits well with the show’s comedic style and retro aesthetic.
It’s a spoof of old Quinn Martin cop shows.
They even used the same announcer at the start.
Like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UHqdVJvk08
One of the best comedies of all time.
"Cigarette? Yes, I know."
"I drove back to the lab" while driving in reverse.

Bought! I love this show.
