Clearing stock for the Wonderboom 4 (finally with USB-C Charging)

    • You'll need membership

  • Can confirm this little guy sounds better than my JBL Charge 4.

    • +2

Yes, loud and good but micro USB.

      • Don't know why you got down voted, that is definitely a consideration to be wary since most people here would only have USB-C or Lightning now.

        • Maybe for some, but surely most people would have usb Chargers with the regular old

usb A female and still have a few usb A to micro usb floating around for the various small

rechargeable gear they had and most likely still sometimes use.

          • @ozhunter68: I have no problem with micro USB, just to let people know to consider.

@superforever: Definitely, I wouldn’t buy anything micro USB at this stage. UE need to catch up with times.

            • @superforever: Problem I have with micro usb is the ports frequently come loose for me, then I have charging/connection issues. Never had that problem yet with Usb-C. My BlueAnt Burleigh speaker which is great (I use it as a TV speaker) has micro usb which is now loose. Had to trial and error different cords till I found a 'thicker' one that would charge properly.

          • @ozhunter68: I have at least 20 micro usb cables lying around.

            • @itstuan: They're just waiting for their opportune moment.

  • Up to 14 hours, how many hours at loud party volume?

    • Around 5 in my experience

      • They can't be that powerful then.

    Can link multiple together too

  • These have way more low rrequency response/ base than the regular Boom, similar to the Megaboom. Much better speaker.

  • Out of stock on Amazon for both types. Blue says in stock at Big W but it won't allow me to add it to cart 😞

    • Try again, I just submitted my order for the blue one on Amazon.

    • Both are back in stock as of 8:50pm AEST

One day too late for price matching and using the JB $20 voucher 😭

    • Price match and use a $10 perks voucher…

  • Great price for a great speaker but yep, beware it’s Micro-USB. I have it and don’t find it be a big issue but it is one more cable type to carry/manage.

  • i have this one and the UE Boom and can confirm this one has much better sound

  • Really good deal OP.

I have used mine for several years - cold winters in the garage whilst working on the car, painting inside the house, outside cleaning along with having dropped it accidentally a few times and it still holds a charge and has not skipped a beat.
