It's worth checking to see if your local Bunnings is doing anything and registering!
It seems most Bunnings are doing their own unique thing, for example, some are having the CFA along, whilst others have Live Music and Fair Rides.

You better bring your own sausages AND your own BBQ becasue THERE IS NO FREE SAUSAGE SIZZLE at any Bunnings store on Fathers day from what I could see.
This post is referring to the Father’s Day Family Event which is to be held at all stores in the evening of Thursday the 29th august. My store is definitely holding a free sausage sizzle as well as lots of entertainment.

Sausage sizzle is NOT FREE unless specifically mentioned for any particular store on the day specifiied..
Bunnings typically allows communty organisations to run "fund raising" sausage sizzles on Bunnings premises so the money you pay for your drink and sausage goes to helping the volunteer community organisation running the sausage sizzle on the day.
So OP can you please alter your post heading to REMOVE FREE SAUSAGE SIZZLE unless advertised as such by the particular store on the specific day (not necessarily fathers day)
So far I can only see one store (Lithgow) advertising a free sausage sizzle but its NOT on fathers day.

They did give a bag of snack and a bottle of water at my local bunning.
Some throwing games and i think the best highlight was free daytona arcade game for 2 players.
Make sure you have dinner first before visiting the bunnings.
Nothing on at my local. Maybe because they only have an under store carpark although the charity sausage Sizzle is there every weekend.
Obviously not all stores participating in this on this specific day.

There will be an event on the evening of the 29th.
Look up Castle Hill NSW and this is what you get "There are currently no activities available to book online at this store. Please contact the store directly for more information.". A few other surrounding stores advertising the Father's Day event on 29/8 but not every store.
The webpages are not uploaded automatically. The Activities Organiser at each store has to do it themselves. I can assure you that Castle Hill is holding an event on the 29th and it not being listed in the website is just an oversight.

Free for everyone. If you register, it helps us out with catering numbers but you won’t be turned away from a sausage sizzle.
Technically the sausage sizzle is always free. Its the sausage sandwich you have to pay for. 😝
These events are so hit and miss depending on the store and which staff member is running the event. I have been to a few with my daughter in SA western suburbs over the years and they are honestly so tight, if you have not pre booked then its sorry no space for you even though you wait and no one else has turned up and oh the free popcorn, its a small bag and they fill it 1/4 full and that's if you are lucky to be offered one, the staff are not happy to promote FREE. Also the wording within the event is written by organiser and some of them honestly have no idea in what they are doing or how to promote the event in their captions/ads.
Last time I got half the sausage if I remember correctly. Short queue but long wait time. Free drinks and some fun activities were nice for the kids. Not worth it if only after the sausage.
