    I prefer the look of their straight-sided ones but can recommend Maxwell and Williams over Bodum based on the lower price and their glass valve rather than Bodum's silicone valve. I use mine every day and wash it in the dishwasher without issue.

        Good to know, my Bodum double-wall glassware has hairline scratches all over the body, which is a bummer. It's just about 4months of dishwasher use though.

      Yep bought these after smashing one of the handle-less ones while washing. They slip out of your hands really easily.

    These are better than Bodum. Bodum valves leak and dirty water from the dishwasher gets inside and makes it cloudy

          i just looked over the threads, there doesnt seem to be a clear concensus. for every one saying bodum bad m&w good theres someone else saying m&w bad bodum good

          my guess is they r both the same, same quality and same (dice roll) QC where its easy to get unlucky and have one break easily

    Just from my experience these were gifted to me and they last a total of 4 months. The seal busted and water got in from the dishwasher. The bodum ones have lasted years, I would recommend them. YMMV

    I have bought these and the equivalent ones from Ikea….DO NOT BUY THESE!

    The ones from Ikea have thicker glass and a significantly better finish

    Ikea doesnt have a BS sale either, the normal price is $5-6 per glass
