    12. All entrants may enter once daily and therefore a maximum of 21 entries for a chance to win the Major Prize.

      Thanks. Missed that. Will update.

The T&C's refer to it as Volksgiving 2024, but say the competition commences on 10/05/2021 at 9:00 AM and closes 31/05/2021 at 11:59 PM ('Promotional Period').

    • +4

Yeah, I think someone has been lazy and forgotten to update the dates in a previous comp they had. I mentioned it in the description.

      • +2

Oh yep, so you did, sorry! :)

        • +2

No worries :) Good luck. Don't forget to enter daily.

    Thanks for posting shaneb. :-)

    Good luck all.

Does everyone gives their precise dob?

    • +3

On the larger prize (nothing comparable to this prize) I've won I was asked to provide proof of my identity. I can't recall if dob was one of the checks, but confirmation of delivery address was.

    • +3

Yes, when I won a holiday they asked for ID confirmation

  • "Out of prizes" is what I got when I scratched today :/

    • I just completed it again and got "Unfortunately you are not a winner today but you're in the draw to win a Volkswagen T-Roc Citylife. Please try again tomorrow". Not sure what your answer means. You didn't enter twice on the one day?

      • +1

I entered once today and I just checked again and got the same message

Odd. I don't know why. Hopefully tomorrow it works.

Anyone else think it rather strange there is zero mention of this completion on the swans website, or their social media sites and the terms and conditions are littered with errors?

    • +2

It was in an e-mail from the Sydney Swans advertising that their sponsorship with Volkwagen had been extended and VW having been in Australia for 75 years.

When they did this same comp a year or two back, I won a very nice toy car. Fingers crossed for the real one this time

  • Any way to check who won this? I have been here: https://www.sydneyswans.com.au/volksgiving but that is the same list of names as back in 2021: https://web.archive.org/web/20210901000000*/https://www.sydn…

    • +1

I can't find anything in e-mails from them. I'll see if I can find somewhere online.

      • +2

I have sent an email to the Sydney Swans advising the T & C date issues and asking where the 2024 winners name can be located as I cannot find it anywhere either. I will let you know when I hear back.

        • +2

Thanks @CL123. There has been no mention of the result in any of the e-mails the Sydney Swans send me multiple times per week (and I'm no Swans supporter).

    • +2

Hey @ghoulie1. I see the link you provided to the names does not specify the year but you are sure they are 2021 winners?

I have sent an email to the SS about these issues and to find out where the 2024 winners names are published. I will let you know when I hear back.

      • +2

Thanks CL. That 2nd link is to the archived version from 2021 so the link has not been updated with the current winners.
