Entry doesn't work. 'Your entry was flagged by our anti-spam system'

Tried two different address from different providers. Both denied.

EDIT: Tried a third email address. That one doesn't work either. Entry page is broken.

    • Yeah, I had that too. Did you try a different e-mail address? My gmail address got blocked, but another didn't. Also worth trying mobile data instead of LAN/Wifi. I often have to switch to 5G with that comp engine.

GMail, Proton, and Internode. All denied. Whoever created that 'anti-spam' system did a very poor job.

        • Bugger. Yeah, not sure what the go is with that software. It's much worse than gleam.

  • From SweepWidget's webpage:

Common error messages participant might see:

    – Our anti-spam system has detected unusual activity.
    – This entry has been flagged by our anti-spam system.

    Common solutions:

    – If you are using a VPN, disable it.
    – Try entering with a different email address. Use a common email address like Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, Yahoo, or other major providers.
    – Contact the company/brand/person that is running this contest and ask them to WHITELIST your email address.

Or the company can fix its system. I'm not using a VPN. Tried three different addresses.

Normally you want as many entries and publicity as possible. This company said 'No! We're going to make people jump through unreasonable hurdles if they want a 1 in 10,000 chance of winning!'

Agreed. I'l send them an e-mail.

        Update:

Thank you for reaching out. I have reached out to our Digital Marketing team who are investigating the issue now. If they email me back with any updates, I’ll be sure to send you a message. Otherwise, please keep trying and hopefully we will have this fixed in the coming days!

They may have fixed it. My entry with Proton email finally went through.
