Don't have it in my reward section, but I punched it in on an order and it knocked off the fee on two accounts, so seems to be cool for anyone.

  • Thanks for sharing update that it's good to go Enjoy

Is this one of those offers where there is still a Service Fee, App Fee, Credit Card Fee, Final Value Fee, Convenience Fee, Inconvenience Fee etc?

I tracked the ebike rider who was to deliver my food one street away before veering off through three suburbs, two which were south of me, one, west, before delivering my meals minus the rice. I assume he got hungry on the way.

When I finally got on to someone from Menulog, she said I was lying. Never again.

I find that the further the place is that you order, the more likely the delivery driver eats your food.

You just have to juggle the distance proximity vs driver hunger ratio when deciding where to order from.

    no thanks

If you want your meal arrive at 12:00pm, try to order it at 10:00am…..

    • But would the food have been cooked at 10:00am?

    • +2

i find that when i schedule in a delivery in advanced it actually comes too early….which is annoying because sometimes we aren't yet ready to eat it.

      Out of business on monday

Wait for the 30% off gift card offer

  • Seems to work, ar least for initial delivery.

Hopefully they don't pull the offer before cheat day!

  • uber one has some exclusive offers on app, look for gold. probally targeted.

  • Do you need to put in the voucher code FREEDOM100 for every single subsequent order to get the free delivery?

Surprisingly, this seems to also work with KFC. 👀

  • Enjoy 100 days of unlimited free delivery!

Is there a min spend for orders after the $20 first order?

    • +1

It worked for an order under $20 for me. I did have $20 of food in the cart to start with and I just removed the items i didn't want and it worked like a charm.

      • +2

Was it above $20 including the service delivery fee? because menulog usually counts that towards the min spend

edit: sorry i meant the delivery fee

        • +2

Was $13.50 plus a $2, so well under 20 bux, favourite pizza place too, pretty damn happy.

100 days of inflated prices + service fee

    • +2

      For bad service.

      Menulog serving is appalling

Used their platform the other day because Commbank had a $15 cashback on a $30 order. Problem is… no one drives for them anymore. It took about 45 minutes before the order got accepted because they couldn't find a driver. Not only that, but they refused refund because apparently the store had already started on my order? Which wasn't the case in the end (thankfully so, I wouldn't have gotten hot food otherwise) but yea…

My advice is proceed with caution…

Tried just now. After Menulog’s hidden 30% commission PLUS their 10% service fee, I am looking at paying $28 for a meal combo vs. $18 if I walk up to the local charcoal chicken joint and order at the counter

And all the other locals are the same.

Wanted to say its on face value a good deal. but their ridiculous commissions forcing the locals to up their prices took the appeal out of it

Brb im gonna stop being a lazy bastard and walk up to the restaurants like a true ozbargainer

  • More than 24hours and nothing in app

  • +1

    Appeared today took about 48hrs

  • Thanks.

  • Tried just now on more than one account and device. All say 'voucher not valid on this device'. Over? Sorry! Silly me wasn't using the app ;)

  • Just saw an advert for this on SBS on demand, so pretty sure its open to everyone and still running although I have not tested it.

I'm seeing it on this page (which I found via google)
    https://www.menulog.com.au/campaign/deals

  • People who are already using this, do you need to put in the voucher code FREEDOM100 for every single subsequent order to get the free delivery? Or could it potentially stack with other codes too?

    • +1

I have it in the app and did a dummy run. Once you have over $20 in cart, it auto offers a choice of free delivery or paid. So you don't have to manually enter, but it may be auto entered so you can't double up. User above managed to use on under $20 by removing items; this didn't work for me.

Was wondering why I recovered 5 text messages for this deal, then remembered I had 5 different email accounts with the same number lol

  • Up to my 2nd chargeback with Menulog in the past 12 months.

Order placed with an estimated delivery time

Food arrives 1 hour late, courier never selects food picked up, and the tracking only starts when he's about 1 min away from my house.

Food is cold and almost unable to be eaten, tried to get a credit from Menulog and they refused saying not their problem, sent screenshots and they blamed my network for not updating.

Lodged a chargeback with Amex and full refund of both orders
