Hi, I closed my Amex card on 3 March 2023.
So to be eligible to get the bonus points when signing up a new AMEX card, need to wait for 18 months. I am uncertain how the '18 months' period is being calculated, is it precisely to date or based on month?
What's the earliest date I can sign up to get the bonus points? Is it 4 Sep 2024 or Oct 2024?

why not call them - the ones who should have the exact dates on their system - and ask instead of asking random internet people to decide this for you…?

I rang them to double check what my 18 months anniversary date was. They told me, and said to apply the next day afterwards for bonus points. Happy days!
