Doom + Doom 2 just dropped in gamepass on Xbox. Includes a whole bunch of awesome new features such as soundtrack, mods, death match. Wow. Sadly the old versions have left the store :(

• DOOM II
• TNT: Evilution
• The Plutonia Experiment
• Master Levels for DOOM II
• No Rest for the Living
• Sigil
• Legacy of Rust (a new episode created in collaboration by id Software, Nightdive Studios and MachineGames)
• A new Deathmatch map pack featuring 25 maps
  Altogether, there are a total of 187 mission maps and 43 deathmatch maps in DOOM + DOOM II.
• 4K / 120 fps
• New switchable game soundtracks
• Hundreds of in game mods (including Sigil 2 by Romero)
• Online cross platform deathmatch /coop up to 16 players

    You need only own one or the other and you get the new two pack.

    I own Doom 1,2,3,64 on PS4, Xbox, and Switch, but only own Doom 1 on Steam, the double pack showed up as free for me on all 4.

  Is there any way to get cheaper game pass at the moment? I've been trying some of the expired methods just in case but none of them are working.

    You can let your account expire, buy 3 years of gamepass core for $210 through key sites and convert it to 2 years of ultimate.

    Somehow I have $15.95 a month for ultimate via Microsoft as a rolling subscription though. Not entirely sure how I got on that though, I haven't actually ever paid Microsoft directly for game pass, I bought a pile of discount cards from EB years ago, then got 2 years free through a Telstra deal, and it finally all runs out next month.
