Same value comment as “$2000 for a phone?!” Or “$250 for a retractable hose link?!”

we have one, its a pretty nice hairdryer. Paid more than this too lol sigh.

    • What is a reasonable price for a hair dryer?

      Let's say three tiers

      • Budget
      • Normie
      • Premium
      • Getting the hairdryer that the Misso actually wants so she’ll stop wasting money buying models she won’t he happy with: priceless

  • Fine one of these at a decent price and save yourself at least $400 - https://www.shavershop.com.au/wahl/designer-hair-dryer---bla…

    • I prefer the Panasonic ones that are from the Japan market, with its ion feature to reduce static when blowdrying hair. But they are huge.

      • Most of the Panasonic hair dryers that I have any experience with have been pretty gutless in terms of actual drying power, so I've never personally been much of a fan.

        • Not all of them are mind blowing. The local Panasonic ones which are just run of the windmill hairdryers are underwhelming when it comes to having the wind in your face. Hence, I only use the ones sold for the Japan market, which are not cheap, especially the 220-240V versions for export.

          • @Sleepycat3: Are we talking the "Nanoe" technology? eg EH-NA98-K765. Otherwise, have an example?

Any opinions on Panasonic vs Parlux?

    • $90 for a hairdryer???

      • +1

$9 for a big mac combo?

      • $2 for a Freddo frog???

      • "at a decent price" - these are readily available for the $50-$60 range, they are very durable and push significantly more air on their highest setting compared to others I've tried.

I am far from a hair dryer expert but I'm not really sure what more a hair dryer could conceivably offer beyond what the one I have linked does that could convince me to spend considerably more money.

Link to a better price below on the off chance you are incapable of googling for yourself:

    • That deal was for the Origin model which only comes with 1 attachment compared the extra 5 attachments with this deal. Other than that, the specifications and design are the exact same.

  • I've acquired five of these to date, pre-owned ranging from $200–250. Two at my place and the others with family and friends, all still in service. Awesome category-killing appliance.
