    I'm not in the trades, but thinking of picking up pants and hoodie for hiking/camping (Gets ashy and smokey sitting around fires).
    Does anyone have experience with the quality of Caterpillar clothing?

      Theyre very good. Onto 2nd pair of boots over 2 year heavy use industrial. Pants very comfy.

    Anyone wearing the boots as a daily thing? Don't work as a tradie but I like wearing boots (normally a pair of walking boots). Would their boots be comfy for just walking around the city?

      Dont have experience with their boots, but have bought their casual line up 'high, mid tops and low sneakers' and I have to say, the quality of the shoes is probably the best quality I have ever worn or been comfortable in. If the same quality is for their boot line up, id say yes.

      Do you mean their boots or shoes specifically?

      Although comfiness is subjective to the wearer, I have a pair of their Propulsion work boots mainly for yard work and similar jobs, like cleaning and maintenance. While they are comfy enough to wear doing that, I wouldn't really wear them personally for daily things. I much prefer a good pair of joggers.

      That said, they've held up quite well over the last year of wearing them. I'm thinking of picking up another pair during this sale to store away.

      Yes the propulsion boots are very comfy on my semi narrow high arch foot. Seem almost like a hiking boot.

      They're not Wooten or RM Williams level, but they're really solid. I got a set of the ecolorado boots for 80 bucks a year ago and they've been great.

    Thanks OP. My current Cats are almost ready for replacement: most comfortable boots I've ever worn. As comfy as regular shoes.

        I've had two pairs (couple of years apart), both US 11. The first were spot-on, the second which seemed to be a newer model were a bit narrow (despite being listed as wide), so I've ordered US 12, this time (and gave the narrow ones to my dad). Not sure if that actually helps…

          Probably a bit late to help anyone, but I've just returned mine because they're too narrow. The shop assistant said that a lot of people find them too narrow (the entire range of boots)

    Cat workpants are absolute garbage. Owned more than 8 pairs through work supply- every single one has faded through the wash and ripped/torn at various points.

    They look and feel fine at the beginning but very quickly turn to trash after use and washing. Have moved on to Bisley - faring much, much better.

    tried some boots in store, tried size 10 which is a little big for me usually, but this was too narrow but still too long, so wouldnt recommend for wide feet, im glad i didnt buy online without trying.

    I ordered size 10 work boots with composite toe based on their sizing but has turned up too big for me. The other size 10 non safety shoe fits well… Go figure..

    Has anyone tried exchanging in store and comment on availability of stock or so I just return and get my money back?
