Based on the JB-HiFi launch deal for the Pixel 8a ($350 after factoring in trade-in of a 3G phone, and spending a $200 voucher), and it's 7 years of support life, I'd hope this phone has approx. 56 years worth of OS and security updates to be of the same value :D

If anyone has missed the EDU deals, suggest going to a local Samsung Experience store with a student ID or a student number (doesn't have to be active and works without access to student email!) and ask for a 20% off. Tried this at Samsung Sydney and Parramatta stores and worked for Fold 6/Flip 6. Also asked Samsung chat and they gave me an additional $250 trade-in bonus using a FL6 code (generated upon request).
Fold 6 256GB RRP 2799 - 20% off - $750 (iphone 14 PMX 128GB) - $150 - $250 - 5%, free S-Pen case. If not sending the iPhone trade-in, will be another $750+$60 out of pocket. Total $1906. May as well get an S24 Ultra as it is on sale for $1800s.

Just got emailed an FL6 $250 bonus trade in code. Works on Samsung EPP. Total for the 256gb comes to $2000 approx less traded phone value.
