Gerni 130.3 Pressure Washer - How to Use with Snow Cannon?

I purchased a pressure washer about 5 years ago yes only just going to use it now and was still boxed.
To be honest I not personally needed or had one before. I checked and it’s working lol. It’s a Gerni 130.3 which comes with a few extras at the time. It’s no longer being made. I want to use it outside and with Bowdens snow cannon.

On Bowdens site vids it said to set pressure for the snow cannon to 7 or 8 I don’t see anywhere on the pressure this washer to change settings or know what it is.

Also, there is a pic of my nozzles on instructions but one does not really resemble one of them and there is a pic which probably means don’t use on a car. How do I know which nozzle is what, as I put in both one you could adjust to soft or harder pressure and smaller one was more a jet sound to it. I just want to be sure I’m using right nozzle on car. It also by looks of instructions which is all pics no wording or lack of it shows guy pressing Mpa bar I am sure mine just has on and off that’s it. Some pics not sure how to add.

I’m looking to use snow fountain with snow job and use pressure washer tomorrow all pending if weather is on my side. But these instructions are crap. Another online manual says one is called click and clean tornado pr nozzle and other click and clean power speed nozzle but then this particular instruction is for a couple other models as well.

I highly doubt anyone has this Gerni still or can give me more info in regards to setting pressure for foam cannon with my Gerni and knowing which nozzles I have.

  • This might be mine as it comes with drain attachment etc.
So what nozzle is safe for car if listed is right on this link or did I not get an auto nozzle?

  • No this is the one I got from Bunnings do I have an auto nozzle one used for car or do I need to buy one and are they still available to buy.

  • Use the adjustable nozzle one - to be honest you don't really need the snow cannon the pressure washer is enough to do a good wash by itself

    • I know that but let’s say I have already got the snow cannon and plan using it as my go to pre wash then by hand two bucket method and would want a nozzle for car. After my snow job I will be using the nozzle from gerni but I believe these two that the gerni is not auto ones?
And how do I know which one is what that I own as they both are similar and what each ones is for.
After the snow foam is added it’s pressure washed off then after hand wash again pressure wash again.
I’m surprised that the pressure washer has not got an auto nozzle as using on cars is popular.
But then the set did come with brush attachment which I will not be using I be using the nozzle maybe the brush was given as alternate to auto nozzle.
My issue is now does the auto nozzle sold today at Bunnings fit my older machine as maybe it’s changed.

      • I have the same pressure washer and the adjustable nozzle is great for the car - there's nothing special needed and you dont need a specific auto nozzle. Your other nozzle is probably the turbo/cyclone nozzle which spins around, it is higher pressure to the point where it could strip paint/coatings so not recommended for the car.

        • I’m pretty sure both are adjustable nozzles with this kit, do you happen to still own the nozzles as so I know which one is what as i did not see much difference between them both.
But I only messed around for a short time.is there not colour codes or something to tell you what is what?
I personally don’t to strip paint of a brand new car hence the auto nozzle as i thought both of these maybe was to strong. The thing that gets me is how much is to strong when your using it.
Obviously it’s recommended to be a metre away from car but some of these nozzles must be got certain jobs.

        • It seems to me this is one of the nozzles which is stated I can use and no need to get auto nozzle.

Gerni Variable Spray Tornado Pressure Washer Nozzle With Blue Dot this instead of auto nozzle.

This is the other one below the one that comes with washer as well which I believe is the one to keep away from car.

Gerni Classic and Super Pressure Washer Jet Spray Green Nozzle

This one above has a ball inside so this will be the powerful one.has no adjustment either.

So as long as maybe I not got the Variable Spray Tornado Pressure Washer Nozzle fully up I’m ok with that and no need for auto one. It’s just all confusing when they called it tornado etc you think this is powerfully as well.

So I’m safe to use this tornado one it’s got a blue dot the jet has green dot

Is this the snow cannon you have? I have a Gerni and looking for one

    • Looking for what? Yes that’s the snow cannon I have.
That’s another device I plan on using with my car was programme I just need a safe nozzle to use with car.
And my problem is if I needed an auto nozzle are they same fitting from models 5 years ago as called g connect now.

  • I have a Gerni, although it is not the same as yours it should be the same setup.

Mix the soap 1:9 in the foam cannon.

Get this adapter to use the Bowden's Snow Cannon with the Gerni.

I did not need to mess with any pressure settings and it makes sticky dry foam with no issues.

    • +1

My bowden's cannon came with a Gerni compatible connector and didn't need an extra adapter.

  • I use the MJJC cannons - they are much better than a bowdens. You can also use the quick connect for other things.
    So I use this:

Coupled with the 1/4 quick connect foam cannon

But you can just the get the cannon with the gerni adapter

  • I have an older Gerni (purchased 2016ish), own a snow blow and the auto/car tip.

The auto tip is more gentle than the circle (Tornado?) and fan tips that your Gerni comes with. Going too harsh with a pressure washer (especially around paint chips) can lift paint off. If you choose not to get the tip, use the fan tip but don't get close to the paint with it. I'm pretty certain it's compatible with your Gerni.

Don't stress about settings on the snow blow either. There's two knobs, just adjust them till it works.
