    But Ugly.

    • NGL, the "Montreal" doesn't look half bad but being Hush Puppies are probably half decently comfortable.. 😅

I got the gold hardware version of this boot for $150. I think you can get a lot better quality than Hush Puppies (not necessarily this) for a little more. https://www.culturekings.com.au/products/timberland-timberla…

Heh, I'm not even sure about quality anymore for Timberland kicks.. 😅

I'm also fairly certain the Hush Puppies would be more comfortable than the Timberland Colab..

I grabbed almost this exact pair on Jan 6 this year from Catch in Womens size 5 for under $56 delivered.. 😅 It's not silver eyelets but it's called the Premium Waterbuck.

I also have 2 of my own pairs of these in the "Castlerock/Gold" colourway $149 from 13/11/23 and one version called "Luxe" which has gold eyelets and red shoelaces from factory I paid $130 for back on the 25/8/22.. 🤑

Also, in reality, these boots are not the same style as my listed "Montreal". You could probably get away with wearing these to work in an office. Whereas you'd only see the boss wearing Timberland boots.. 😅

Hush Puppies are better quality than those “branded” boots.

@Loracks: Agreed… much better quality and infinitely more comfortable!

        • Funnily enough, there's plenty of people who would say you should spend a bit more to get something better quality than Timbs https://www.reddit.com/r/BuyItForLife/comments/nre83e/timber…

          • @beltdrive: Absolutely. There's always going to be better for a bit more. We just gotta find the best bang for our buck and hopefully jump a price-bracket or two when they're on special.
I've seen pro Hush-Puppy comments get downvoted and another had the audacity of saying R.M's were uncomfortable. I don't wear leather soles… which I decided after buying these loafers 30 years ago. Think I've worn them twice. https://imgur.com/a/4NMuIEe
And I must have hit the Timbs lottery or just have weird-ass feet that fit them well. In either case I'm happy…for now. It sounds like these Timbs are going to self-destruct at some point.

@BoltThrower: I don't mind leather soles in some situations, but there are some surfaces are so slippery when you wear them!

Just FYI those Timberland, CAT, Palladium etc boots sold at platypus and the like are not built like they used to be. They seem to last about a season for me - so I would never call them a 'bargain'.
