No c855 series at Betta yet :(

  • C755 has $300 cash back too

  • can price match at jb hi-fi?

    • Cash back cannot be used for price match though?

      • probably not.. but could haggle them halfway? goes for $1295 online, so honestly would be happy with something like $1050

I have the c725 and its laggy AF. Have they improved in these models?

I have a c745 75" and the performance is great. I was burnt by tcl a few years back, but 2 year old smashed my samsung.

Software is solid but sometimes ger artefacts with netflix. Maybe a Dolby thing? Otherwise plex, Disney and paramount work great.

    • I had a P725 which was laggy. I now have the C655 which is not.

  • That price doesn't seem to include GST. It was $85 delivery for me plus GST

The rtings summary is not bad! Probably great value. That being said, nothing will beat the price I paid for my S90C OLED in that Samsung shop deal

    • Agree. 1.3k for an OLED is a bargain.

Rtings wouldn't have this model reviewed as they don't sell it over there

Link to the review or explanation from the negger?

        It's a Q651G in the U.S.

          Thanks

Rtings is so subjective now with their ratings. Make sure you check other reviews too

Why is this downvoted, I guess Rtings is objective?

  • I have the 50" and am quite pleased with it. It's far better than the P725 that I had previously. The 50" and under have a 60hz panel. The 55" - 85" have a different panel that can do 120hz at 1080p and the 98" is native 144hz. The 55" and up also have Onkyo sound with a built in subwoofer. It's a Q651G in the U.S.

  • How do any sports fans find watching sport on modern TCL TVs?

My mid tier 120hz Samsung from a few years back is OK with FTA and streaming sport but not perfect. There's some motion clarity issues, artefacts and upscaling is not amazing. Q70t 2020 model…

Would hate to get anything worse with motion so hesitant on TCL, but their mid tier mini leds are tempting… I'm thinking c755/c855.
