At the moment our Renault SUV has no issues, would Tesla Y struggle as I am not sure how much ground clearance is.

Y doesn't have locking diffs so it won't get up a kerb, curb or even a curve. For School run with these obstacles you need a Nissan Patrol or Merc G-Wagon only

I know I'm late but 3 weeks ago in a mates his scrapped slightly on a normal height curb when we went up it.

Also gives additional flexibility to mount different kerbs in case the kids move to a different school, preferred kerb is unavailable on any given day etc - think shopping centres, train stations, polling places on election day or anywhere else saving 3 minutes is more important than obeying the law
