Through this Offer and during the Offer Period, Eligible Participants will be able to purchase or gift Aeroplan points at a discounted rate from the regular pricing in Canadian dollars (excluding applicable taxes) for purchasing or gifting Aeroplan points pursuant to the Buy Points Program during the Offer Period as per the following conditions:

(a) Receive a 15% discount on Aeroplan points when a minimum of 10,000 Eligible Aeroplan points and up to a maximum of 19,000 Eligible Aeroplan points are bought and/or gifted (no discount Aeroplan points will be issued if less than 10,000 Aeroplan points are bought and/or gifted).
(b) Receive a 20% discount on Aeroplan points when a minimum of 20,000 Eligible Aeroplan points and up to a maximum of 75,000 Eligible Aeroplan points are bought and/or gifted.
(c) Receive a 25% discount on Aeroplan points when a minimum of 80,000 Eligible Aeroplan points and up to a maximum of 95,000 Eligible Aeroplan points are bought and/or gifted.

  NOT A DEAL, was recently 125% bonus points and commonly 80-100%, this is an utter waste

      With the 125% bonus you could have gotten 100k+125k Aeroplan points for $3,600 AUD.

      That is easily enough to fly from Melbourne (Or any major port) - Singapore - New York/Los Angeles/San Francisco/Seattle/Houston return in Singapore Airlines Business Class for 220k Aeroplan points and $300 in taxes and fees.

      Or do the same to Europe in Singapore Airlines Business Class for the same 220k Aeroplan point figure.

      Or fly to North America cost effectively with United Polaris Business from Australia to North America for 175k Aeroplan Points return.

          @Spizz: United really opens up any reward availability within 90 days of departure, more likely within 3 weeks before departure when they know they arent going to sell seats and open up to United MileagePlus upgrades, they will also open up (I) class redemption seats. You can use a website like https://seats.aero/ and create alerts for when it comes up.

          Eg) United Melbourne - Los Angeles in Polaris Business Class
          07/08 - 9+ Seats
          21/08 - 1 Seat
          14/08 - 5 Seats
          02/10 - 3 Seats
          11/08 - 9+ Seats
          28/8 - 3 Seats
          04/9 - 3 Seats

          Singapore Airlines really opens up a good load of seats T-355 days before departure (specifically at 10am AEST), but even during peak season you can find something for 1-2 pax.
