  • How do these compare to the Wuben F5?

    • +8

I'd say they don't really. They're for different purposes.

These Yeelights only have a fairly low lumen output, so are more for using as dim lighting that doesn't completely blind you, like when going to the toilet in the middle of the night and you've got them set to motion detection mode. And I reckon they're pretty good for that.

I guess you could use one of these for lighting a small tent or something, but I'd still rather use the Wuben even for that.

$8.97 delivery kills the deal imo.

  • Switch it to auto
The Glare free light endows you
    With softening night

      Well endowed or just endowed?

      Keep going. I'm almost there.

  • Missed out the Yeelight Arwen Ceiling Light last year, will you ever have them back?

  • Is this for 1 light or 2…All pictures show 1 light except the last one showing a box of 2??

    • says "1 x Rechargeable Sensor Nightlight"

      • +4

Yeah I know but the picture of the box says it’s a
“2 pack” which is why I’m asking them for clarification before I buy

It's been what 4 years and still no USB C?

    What is going on.

    • +2

They are getting rid of old stock. Next version will have 2 added useless features and USB-C, at $40 each.

  • +3

Got to buy 3 to get free delivery. No thanks lol

  • +2

These are really good. I have a couple in the toilet for the night. I probably have to charge them every 6 months or so.

I need a couple more but shipping kills the deal.

    • +1

Yup same I've charged twice in 8 months. Good for a motion sensored night toilet/hallway light.
It doesn't get very bright but is sufficient for the above purpose.

    • +1

Seems like if you want a couple, stretch it to just 1 more and you get free shipping. Give it to a family member if it's 1 too many.

  • How do these compare to the ones on temu? Temu $40 min shipping also kills any deal

    • You can message them to remove the shipping minimum spend

      • I tried but they couldn't. Kept talking in a loop and telling me to spend more. How do you get to a human?

        • Havent ordered in a few months. I just said in chat remove minimum order spend and got put through and they waived it. Maybe they are strict with it now

    • The battery life of the ones on Temu is frustrating. Have to keep recharging about every 3 weeks. Would not recommend.

  • We've got 5 motion sensing lights throughout our place - including 3x of these Yeelights. Hard to fault. I don't like to sleep with the ambient lighting level that you get from devices that switch on at dusk - and these provide enough light as people move around the place when everyone else is asleep.

Buying another three to give to family…

I have these in my home, hallways and kitchen for night time. They are good, I just wish they were a soft start light, the sudden illuminating hallways are terrifying.

  • OOS

  • I remember buying these for $10 delivered from Banggood in 2018. Still going strong. Good lights!

  • If you need 4 of these, the kogan one are actually not bad (I got both yeelight and kogan ones, they are pretty comparable)
    https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/mighty-ape-rechargeable-motion-… Pack of 4 for $41 + delivery

    • Bought 3 a year ago from kogan for $24 inc freight. Are these better?

  • Just a warning, I purchased a few of the long light bars from yeelight and all of them stoped taking charge after about 2 years. Comments seem good on these ones though.

  • Everytime I see this I think of the Plumbus

  • has anyone gotten the USB C square ones? I wonder what they are like. They seem alot cheaper too https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006844312453.html
