What Is The Best Way to Get Repackaged Old PC Games?

Long story short, suddenly I feel like playing Need For Speed 2 SE as it was my first NFS game in high school.

I can find the ISO easily from Archive.org but I cannot find the solution to get it working on Windows 11 by emulating Glide features.

The original version also does not have the patch etc. So I assume someone must have made a patched version and packaged for Windows 11?

Some older games like Red Alert etc are already officially re-released so that is okay, but some other games are not easy to find.

Oh wow this is great! Thanks!

Now i can relive the memory of spending the money I earned at Maccas on a Monster Voodoo 12MB!

  • Surely you've checked GOG?
They go to efforts to get old games running on modern PCs and you can purchase legitimately and they are DRM-free.

    • actually i wasnt aware that GOG actually tries to re-package older games for compatibility purposes so yeah ill check it out thanks!
