OZBARGAIN

Story: We've been clearing out the shed and stumbled across the last 27 cases of Chardonnay from a recent export order. (Update: 8 cases left)

Winemaking: Night harvest to retain fruit freshness. Grapes were destemmed and pressed immediately. Juice was then transferred directly to barrels for fermentation followed by partial malolactic fermentation for added complexity. The wine was bottled after 5 months maturation in seasoned French oak hogsheads.

Region: South Australia

Nose: The nose has a hint lifted stonefruit and melon.

Palate: The palate is a lovely balance of rich, creamy white peach fruit and fresh citrus acid. Subtle brioche notes from the oak influence complement the mid palate with a crisp, dry finish.

Cellaring: Drink now to 2027

Winemaker: Bec Hardy.

Screwcap. Vegan.

Note: The term 'cleanskin' refers to the wines supplied being free from a traditional wine label.

what you don't gently clean & scrub each grape by hand before crushing gently with your pristine feet?

    • Haha. You wouldn’t want my feet in there. :-))

  • Did not notice the free shipping by using the ozbargain code

    • Worked for me. Code produces a $20 discount to offset shipping.

      • Didn't say it didn't work. Didn't read the whole post. Probably should mention it in title.

        • +1

@Bruceflix glad you worked it out. Sadly too little space in the title to add it in. I have tried to explain it clearly in the body of the text. Apologies for the confusion. RD :-)

          • @RD ADL: Certainly was a PEBCAK issue.

            • @Bruceflix: PEBCAK?

              • @RD ADL: PEBKAC problem exists between keyboard and chair or in the above case between chair and keyboard.

@Tyrannosaurus Rex: @Tyrannosaurus Rex @dangerdanger hahahaha. Love that expression - that'll be getting some use this week in the office :-))

IE. The end user is the problem 😂
