Bought from the same 3rd party seller on Amazon (Feb 2024) and they sent me a unit with manufacture date Sept 2022 and it was fully discharged on arrival, 0%. Its been in storage that long. 🫤, I returned it.

  • Where do you find the manufacture date? Be good to check it if I get one.

  • +3

I bought one from Taobao earlier this year.

    It self discharges pretty fast.

    I don't recommend.

      Thats interesting.
I have one from @ Mostly Melbourne via Amazon AU which I bought years back and sitting unused at 50%(I use it once every few months) and it has not self discharged.

    • We offered 1 year warranty on this product.

        What do you offer now?

        • -6

          Grammar nazi

          • @salin: If your going to take a stab (which I support behind a keyboard), at least get it right!

Spelling nazi, not grammer nazi 😅

Also if OP now only offers 6 month warranty, wouldn't you want to know before going through ACL for the extra warranty?

      • @Mostly Melbourne I bought it recently and it does discharge too, I sent you a message on Amazon. Let me know what could be done.

Probably a faulty unit or counterfeit

  • This will sell out at this price. It always does.

    Sept 2023 bought for $134.99

    • Cuz there was a deal on that date. We haven't offered any special discount since April 2024

      Just got mine
      Production date 05/2024

  • That's the best power bank

I don’t understand. Since when a power bank so pricey

    • +4

Find another power bank that is like for like at this price point. 210W 25,000mah with UPS from a reputable brand.

      • My understanding is that the 200W+ functionality is pretty specific and limited and can overheat.

But it must be said, it can both charge and discharge at ~100W for the whole capacity without overheating, which is superb.

        • Yeah, I've had mine for about 2 years, took it on many flights and charge at 100w sometimes and normal 60w other times. Gets warm but never got to the touch. The wall GaN charger gets hotter haha

Never discharged at 200w though. Only maybe close to 100w with MBP Intel version + Samsung phone.

Biggest benefit is the 100w in. Very handy for trips because top ups is super quick.

Also I didn't have discharge issues. If you double press the power button, it flashes and stays on as low current mode. Maybe that's what discharges?

      • What do you mean by with UPS?

  • I've used this powerbank for my laptop, can recommend, it charges laptop battery from 0 to full. its charges pretty fast aswell 100w :)

  • This powerbank had been unavailable for some time on Amazon AU! It always sells out quick at this price and is @SmoothCactus approved.

Just wanted to also point out this powerbank can also function as a fairly reliable Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) through its USB C ports. There is an edge case where it will get interrupted when supplying 100W through its USB A port - see the comments from @Prong in this thread for details.

You ain't flying with this one…

    • Yes you can?

      • That's what REX pilot told me

      • I've taken it on domestic and international multiple times. No issues.

EU and Asia (not US so unsure if TSA will chuck a fit)

    • You can take up to 100WH with no approval and up to 160WH with airline approval. Some countries have exceptions. In AUS no issues up to 160WH.

      • Oh I see, this is not 210Wh, it's 90.75Wh… Thanks! Might grab this bargain.

    • +1

210W is marketing fluff. The combined output of each USB port.

90.7 Wh is printed in small text on the powerbank.

      3.63V nominal voltage of a cell * (25,000 mAh / 1000) = 90.75 Wh

Flights usually have a limit of 100 Wh and might allow 160 Wh if you ask the airline for approval beforehand.

Rule of thumb on some countries might be 20,000 mAh if they incorrectly calculate Wh with 5V * (20,000 mAh / 1000) = 100 Wh. It should be nominal cell voltage * (capacity in Ah) = Wh.

    • Flew many times interstate with this one.

Pulled the trigger with both eyes open Yusuf Dikec style.

Not that it should put any one off this - but I had to dispose of my 2 year old unit due to expanding batteries.

Disappointed given the price but I guess that’s life.

  • December 2023, I bought for the same price. Haven't even opened the box lol

Using the Anker 737 and Inui B64

    • Interesting they are on sale at the moment -> https://www.anker.com/au/products/a1289?variant=450667113352…

I cancelled this and opted for the Anker 737.

      • Any reason why?

        • I think the Anker is better, and for me, the formfactor is better.

          • @landspider: Anker was the first battery bank I ever bought, I accidentally killed it after 8nyears of use, plugged into a wrong charger.

That's why I went with anker.

Anker can charge my Lenovo P1, that damn thing requires 135w PSU to operate. Only maybe used it a handful of times but that type of battery backup gives you a peace of mind. Reliable, good display, charges fast if you plug it to 60w charger. If not in a hurry, plug it to a slow charger overnight.

  • 210w?!?!?!

  • No checkbox.. expired?

  • Already expired? Was this just for a few hours?

  • I posted in Anker deal, this is now my go to.

FYI this is 23% (132 grams) heavier than the Xiaomi, and about 1cm longer, 1cm wider, and 3mm thicker

  • Lucky I got this powerbank from a deal earlier in the year as I would have missed this deal Again for the 6th or 7th time lol.

Great powerbank, although has some decent competition these days.

  • I'm having a bizarre problem I hope someone could shed some light on; this seems to charge my laptop at 60w no problems; but when i connect my phone, pixel 8 pro, into the type c port, i'm not getting more than 7.5w charging, and it seems to be flickering between charging and discharging in accubattery charging screen.

Using the type a port gives me a much more reliable continuous 15w charging.

The same c-to-c cable and same type c port was just charging at 60w laptop a minute ago.
The same usb-c port on my phone gets solid 15w from the type-a from this powerbank.

Troubleshooting: I've tried the other type c port; same deal. I've tried various c to c cables which I've known to work well with my cupboard of powerbanks.

Looking it up online led me down to Power Delivery Negotiation Issues..

    what's going on?
