Shame the previous post was removed, there were some good comments there comparing and contrasting it with Niche Zero.
Now republished as we've been able to confirm with company that their Amazon store is in fact is there own.

I don't think I care much about the DLC burrs, so the Amazon version would be fine for me if it had the proper cords.. also never had any warranty issues dealing with Amazon.

Yes you need to mention in your order that it should come with an AU plug
having purchased the DF83v2 with stainless steel burrs and then purchasing the DF83v with DLC burrs I would honestly recommend going for the DLCs. Small added cost but a great improvement on taste when comparing them side by side. Not sure how much of that is due to the DF83v being a different grinder altogether, but thres definitely a significant improvement in my experience.
I assume the same would apply for the 64mm variants.
And yes, both came with AU plug when asking for AU plug in comment section of the purchase order.
This! I have a DF64V and one of the deciding factors to get it over the DF64V, apart from variable speed was the inclusion of DLC burrs. Many forums have posts saying that DLC burrs make a difference to the cup taste.
FYI feedback from DF64 Amazon Store:
If your delivery address is Australia, you will receive Australia Plug.

My understanding is you have to request AU plug and it can mean it takes longer to ship. I bought a DF64v 220v and it came with a UK plug. I've had problems using a converter though.

You're right, that price is too low.
Maybe for your needs but ample for mine.
If I add in SSP espresso burr it is at just under $1K shipped.

Do you do straight espresso or with milk? What beans do you use? I think the jump to DLC is worth the price, after that you get diminishing returns.

Beans are nothing fancy - Coffex Superbar.
Just after the same grind consistently day day after day.
Any burrs would give you grind consistency with this grinder, I would recommend going with the DLC and if you want to try SSP in the future you could look for a 2nd hand set.
You need to be very experienced, have a great palate and be in control of all other variables to really pick a difference between burrs.
I just upgraded my DF64v from DLC to SSP LS. It improves the sound considerably, no more screeching. Taste wise, jury is still out.

I bought DF64V (220-240v) from these guys about 1 year ago. It is about $200 bucks cheaper than Alternative Brewing. Overall, it is a decent budget version vs Option O Langom P64. The only part I had to do was cutting cord and replace it with AUS plug. It is shipped from Singapore. It has been similar price when I bought it about 1 year ago though.

If you have specific requests, you need to send them an email which is in theirs 'contact' section (mention or forward to them your order #).
There is a notes space when you add it to your cart. It's hard to see. I always also immediately reply to the order confirmation email to confirm they got the note. They usually reply quickly.
BTW I bought burrs from them this week. Took 53 hours from order to delivered.
I've just started looking into grinders, does anyone have a reason to purchase this over a DF40 considering I only make 2-3 coffees per day?
Get df54 - imo, a better grinder and in the cup very similar to df64, especially if you drink milk based coffees.

Keep in mind that df64coffee price in AUD is not what you'll be charged on your credit card because it's charged in USD and different credit card use different exchange rates plus majority charge an International transaction fee, even on AUD transactions if made to an overseas retailer.
I have the DF54 - slightly smaller. But so far (only had a for a short time), it seems fantastic for the price. DF64 at this price is a steal.
Is anyone able to give a rundown of the burrs, and their suitability for different types of beans / brew? I'm a light espresso and filter drinker, would like a grinder that does both well, if that's possible. Upgrading from an old Compac K6 and a Lido hand grinder
Get the red speed V3 SSP Lab Sweet burrs. I researched this for months and that's where I landed.
I was heavily researching coffee grinders and the amazon deal popped up at the right time!

How does this compare to a Breville smart grinder pro?
It's a different league all together.
Will this suit a 51mm dosing cup or portafilter?
51mm? 54mm is the usual small size otherwise the commercial standard 58mm. From youtube reviews, the grinder comes with an aluminium dosing cup and an attachment that would fit on top of 58mm portafilter.
Delonghi machines use 51mm

This or the Niche Zero…?
Based on reviews, I'd go Niche zero if you dont mind the paying the extra 300-400 and you would get a grinder which has proven itself for much longer than and is more silent to run with small safety features.
Personally, I still thought this was good value and went for this deal.
Full disclosure: This perspective is based on youtube reviews only, I've used neither grinders yet!
After adding the upgraded Burrs to this deal the Price works out pretty much the same $950~ So i guess it really a matter of Conical Vs Flat Burrs…I really just want consistency and minimal retention for medium to dark roasts…Aesthetically the Niche Zero is more appealing to me but as far as reviews go i'm still undecided but either would be an upgrade from the stock Breville grinder i'm currently using so i know i won't be disappointed with either choice. This is hobby not a necessity and i know with any hobby the rabbit holes are never ending lol
Sorry to say but we upgraded from our entry level grinder to DF54 a few months ago and the difference is remarkable. It was money well spent, around $450 from memory. The DF64v2 in this deal is technically an upgrade and at this price is a "steal" in the world of hobby coffee enthusiasts :D
My opinion is you'd be better with a manual hand grinder for conical burrs cause it's easy anyways for single doasing. The DF64 is amazing for price here and flat burrs that it gives you a nice blend, for the price of this and a hand grinder you'd still be cheaper than a niche and get best of both worlds.
In case this helps, I reached out to them via email about their Amazon offer as I wanted to white version. I ended up getting the DF64 (gen 2) with SS burrs + DLC burrs on the side for $620 delivered. Super excited for it to arrive.
Did you go through Amazon or direct?

I contacted them via email and could only get the DLC burrs on the side with the standard burrs fitted for AU$620. The SS burrs took it up to AU$830 delivered with no DLC burrs.
Does this include the grinder app?
