I had latex mattress for the past 20 years and the bed sunk fast. Within the first 7 years, it has sunk and Harvey Norman where I purchased it from saying that it won't be covered by warranty as it was not deep enough. My back has now got problem because of that.

afaik latex mattresses generally have at least 10-year warranties covering indentation >1cm/1in - what (brand) was yours?
@tonester: The indentation has to be at least 5 or 6 cm to be qualified for warranty claim. Mine is Thomas Peacock.
@yht: 5-6cm is ridiculous, if not ludicrous or unreasonable - Thomas Peacock is now an A.H. Beard brand, not too surprising given that it was from Harvey Norman :(
@yht: What's the total depth of the mattress? Most pure latex (i.e., no springs or proprietary foam) would be less than 25cm.
A warranty requiring an indentation of around 20% of the total depth is absolutely ridiculous and could likely be tested under the ACL.

The issue I have with this kind of marketing is all mattress stores appear to offer these kind of massive discounts so if one doesn't have 50% off just go to another one. In other words they're just jacking the RRP to make it look like a good deal. Also it's been over 20hrs & still no bargains listed.
