Is Samsung A13 5G Supposed to Come with a Charger?

Guys, just bought a Samsung A13 5G and found it odd when I unboxed it that it has a charger inside it.

Is this normal?

    I believe the A13 came out when Samsung was transitioning from including the charger adapter to excluding it.

    According to amaysim product page, the AU version should include the charging adapter:

        If it from amaysim, then it's genuine AU stock.

        Also the A13 is a budget Samsung Phone which would unlikely be counterfeit.

          Yeah, it doesn't have NFC as well…

          This must be a special version nerfed for Aussies.

          I should have read the fine print instead of relying on Google and gsmarena.

          When I was doing research I found the A13 4G did not have NFC, but the A13 5G did. Turns out I was wrong because this version is different.

            @James Gunno: going forward best to avoid A series, better to get one generation older but S series. doesnt matter what the A specs and how they spin it on advertisement, there must be few things weird on them. get S and happy

              @CyberMurning: The price difference between an A13 and a last gen S series are not even close to similar.

    The whole point of Europe REQUIRING manufacturers to standardise their chargers was so every device didn't have to come with yet another charger. You could use one you had for something else. So one less charger had to be manufactured, and later thrown out in the e-waste. It was one small, and excellent, step toward saving the planet from humanity. It defeats the point if they supply one in the box with every device anyway.

      I like the chargers.

      I have one next to my bed and another in the kitchen.

      I've bought some Heymix ones, hasn't burned the house down yet but I would prefer some Samsung or Apple chargers.

      Also, newer chargers are more powerful than older ones.

    My A15 5G purchased two months ago didn't came with a charger. I had enough Telstra points to get it and the USD C to C charger free.
