          @drillvoice: I feel like I tried it in the past too and it never worked.

          I recently purchased a $100 gift card using above link, loaded it into the account and used it for all purchases. I even used a false name for the DD account, and a disposable email. I never added any other payment method, and still have not.

          What's more, I was even able to set up a dash pass 30 day trial.

          I used the Optus free sim trial for my new number.

          I made 3 coles orders and exhausted all but $2.50 from the account (which I will gladly forfeit. 2 orders at 50% off ($20 cap), and one at 30% off ($20 cap). Obviously it's not a real 50% off, but still a huge saving.

  … are these deals being used here by legit new customers or by people churning details?

  By this point surely everyone who would be interested in food apps would already be signed up, and thus these promo deals wouldn't make sense to offer?
