DeWALT 18V XR Premium 2-Piece Kit (DCK2052H1T1) $404.10 (Pricebeat TKD by 10%) @ Bunnings

180

Great price on this kit. Comes with DeWalt's current top of the range hammer drill (DCD999), the shortest impact driver on the market (DCF850), a 6ah Flexvolt battery, a 5ah Powerstack battery (pouch cell, high output), fast charger, and large TSTAK case.

    • Yea I didn't go with this one as it was lower spec hammer and impact as you mentioned. Also it has a 3AH (does not fit the kit tools, only dewalt accesories) and 2 x 4AH battery while the kit posted has a 5 and 6. The kit posted also has a 6AH that is flexvolt, so it is future proofed in the way that the 6AH can be used on Dewalts premium and newer 54V tool releases.

Also the one you noted doesn't come with a storage box which RRP is 100+. All personal preference.

      • agree, op deal is more for tradies, link i posted more for home use

  • edit: the page is working again for me, but I'll just go in to buy in person. (old comment: Cancelled? The page has gone and my click and collect was cancelled right after payment.)

  • I got this from Bunnings late in their EOFY promotion, exact same set but also had a 1.7ah Powerstack by redemption from DeWalt (still waiting). Also, Bunnings had a spend $500 on certain brands and get a $100 e-gift card so threw in some drill bits for a total $514 with the ($414 if you subtract the gift card).
Seeing as this is clearance I feel like it would be risky waiting too long hoping for a deal like that again, when I bought it they struggled to find the stock which was limited. Good tools so far, though the 5ah power stack is much larger than I expected, larger even than my other 18V non-powerstack 5ahs.

    • I'm also still waiting for a 1.7ah Power stack redemption from DeWalt

      • +1

Mine just arrived, greater Melbourne area. I had no communication from DeWalt other than confirming they received my redemption request.

        • Thanks for letting us know. I'm Melbourne too so hopefully not far off.

  • Tool Kit Depot have this same kit delivered for $449

Incorrect, this kit does not include the 6AH flexvolt battery may not include the flexvolt charger (not completely sure), and there is a significant price difference between those two battery types.

      • I think it does and the description is wrong, the product code is the exact same and the 6Ah flexvolt is pictured too

        • I just called them and enquired and they said go off the description not the image and their best advice (until it’s verified) is that the description is accurate

          • @Reubzy: You could also try price-beating at Bunnings since the Model Number (DCK2052H1T1-XE) is the same.

            • @RichardL: Yea that’s what I’m thinking might give it a crack today

            • @RichardL: Tried Bunnings Price Beat and told not as TKD part of the 'Bunnings Group'

          • +1

@Reubzy: That's a hell of a stuff up, wrong picture, wrong product code.
If that's the case I think it's meant to be the DCK2050H2T-XE kit

So yeah I'd try your luck at Bunnings price matching and see if they are far more likely to go off the product code

@donkcat: Tried and success baby, good tip

              • +1

@Reubzy: Nice get, good on you for putting in the work to get the price beat.

                • @donkcat: Just noticed that Tool Kit Dept have updated their description and I think you're right, it is the same kit. Regardless Bunnings Price Beat is the go

  • Decent deal. My DeWalt (596 I think) from years back is still going strong, it's a decent brand.

I would jump on this but I bought the recent Metabo deal from TradeTools, which are made in Germany and I'm really liking too.
