Any recommended items from this site? Ta
Full Umineko collection on PC $26.50 (Used)
Densha de GO! + Controllers (train simulators)
Used consoles under $50 (PS1, Gamecube, Famicom, etc)
Lots of cheap used games.
Densha de GO! + Controllers (train simulators)
I picked up so many controllers from Hard Off. They're not easy games.
Made for some great GameCenter CX episodes.
They increased base prices 20% recently (i.e. what was 500 yen suddenly became 600 yen). Holding off future orders a a result. AUD/JPY has mellowed. Still cheaper than visiting there (flights, hotels, etc.), but I'm not in a hurry to order more for now.
Looking at items on my wishlist, a few have gone down over recent weeks and a few have gone up. Largely, they've remained the same price for ages. I think it just depends on the item.
Gav is correct, before the minimum price of items was 500yen. It is now set to 600yen.
Oh! I get it now. I misinterpreted what Gav originally said. You guys are absolutely correct.
Minimum prices have increased a fair bit since the first surugaya post late last year. I got many items at (the previous minimum of) 300 yen. seeing that it has jumped to 500 and now 600 yen makes cheap stuff like individual TCG cards and other stuff under $6 really not worth it. Best bang for your buck is buying niche stuff worth more than A$10.
Do they sell chocolate?
Really like small chocolate Japanese candies.
Yes would like to know where I can get cheap Royce Chocolate.
Try zenmarket, I use them all the time (I've not bought food stuff, they do sell but will check for import restrictions I think)
No.
Thanks OP. I ordered all the Ace Combat PS2 jet plane arcade shooter games, I believe the Japanese versions have English language option on all. I'm playing it on a modchipped PS2 purchased off FB Marketplace that hasn't been fully modded harddrive wise, I have the option to burn some PS2 games but have no idea how.
And a bonus 1/48 F22 airplane Hasegawa itasha model kit related to the game. The games cost $60 as a bundle on eBay. For $86 all up, bargain!
Just want to say. Make sure your shopping cart is what you need, additional orders attract commission fee of 500JPY.
Newbie to this site, just heard it today.
I come from Buyee where an item will end costing about double the item price after shipping and fees.
Will this be the same case with this site?
Thank you.
I dont think so. Since its free shipping I assume the only thing to worry about is item price+gst(if any). However I do hear that the price on internation site is higher than domestic one
Thanks, yeah, as swanzilla put below, they only charge the 500 yen commission.
They charge 500 yen sales commission per transaction, but that is the only other thing you need to pay other than the displayed item price. So no matter how much you buy, you only need to pay 500 yen as long as you keep them in the same order.
This site is great especially if you already know what you want, shipping is fast (4 days in my case) and the items are mostly still in near perfect condition eventhough they are “used”.
I'm looking for some import games, prices are kinda the same level of other sites like nin-nin games.
Much better than Buyee (Mercari and others) for sure.
You will be able to see the final charges before placing the order.
Awesome. Ordered Tamiya TT02 Porche 911 RC (no longer available in AU) for around $70 less than AU TT02 prices.
What do people usually buy from them?
naise now we talking!
"USED"
How does this website work, if I check the 2nd hand consoles there is almost no description or pictures of it.
The Japanese website often has more detailed listings.
We can't buy from the Japanese website though can we? As they have some stuff the english site doesn't :(
No not without a ship forwarder. Then it's not worth it.
Do they sell "used" anime figures, if you know what i mean?
would i be paying a tax on import?
No if total value is under 1000AUD
Damn, I should have done more digging before buying from Buyee, the bastards charge a hefty sum for shipping and on top of that they do charge GST too.
Luckily it was only 1 game.
Because parcel forwarding like buyee and neokyo are too popular and their annual turnover exceeds the threshold set by the ATO, so they are required to charge GST on behalf of ATO at the point of sale. Using some other smaller forwarder not yet targeted by the ATO would solve the issue.
Are gundams worth buying from them?
Yes. Their Gundam kits may be "used", but they come good as new with all the runners still in their plastic bags. If there's an actual issue with their used items, it'll be described so in the item's title: [Damaged item], [Accessories missing], etc.
Anyone had any issues buying things from this website? I put a purchase through, the money came out and I got an email to say my order has been cancelled because of a credit card issue
It's a common problem, use paypal for your first purchase.
I found that paypal charged quite a bit more due to their inflated exchange rates
I think in paypal checkout you can opt not to use Paypal conversion rate and select charging in JPY?
@seanyong: Thanks that will be handy to note for future reference. I've cooled on the idea of going through with the purchase. I was a bit worried about the quality given that there were no images of the item
they sell just trash. I ordered about 5 different earbuds and Oculus Meta Quest, but they all were just rubbish. Only one earbud was working properly and that too had the fragile battery. I don't recommend electronics shopping from here.
Its kind of on nearly all the time these days
