As usual, Telstra rewarding new customers with deals and raising costs for existing customers.
Their latest offer:
“Join Australia’s best Mobile network and get 40,000 bonus Telstra Plus points
When you take up a new Upfront mobile plan by 7 October.
Bonus points for new services only and applied within 14 days. Join Telstra Plus by 7 November 2024 (eligibility criteria apply).”
So of course, I’m looking to score those 40,000 Telstra plus points, which will require porting out and in as a “new service/customer”. Should be easy, right? Any tips/hints?
TLDR; what’s the cheapest prepaid SIM card to port out of a postpaid plan, and back into the same postpaid provider?

Not sure if this is the cheapest but it's only 8 bucks for 30 days of credit
