Comments

  • Is there a cap per user? Or we can make multiple orders and still get both cashbacks each time?

  • Are special activities also excluded from cashback?

    • Have an upcoming trip to SG and am thinking about the same.
I am GUESSING the special activities should be eligible for cash back.
Maybe a question that our SB rep can answer?

      • Have the same question, the list is really confusing. Need someone from ShopBack to confirm if cashback only applicable to those listed special activities or anything not on the list.

  • RIP the golden era of the JR pass before the 70% price hike. It is so fun catching a train to a new city every single day for a few weeks. Easy and fun way to travel.

    • Is it not worth anymore? What would you recommend for a couple of weeks covering Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, etc.?

Is it not worth even after the cashback and cheaper to purchase individual tickets on the spot at the station itself?

  • Going back in time that exclusion list used to only list “Special activities” that all get excluded without a dedicated exclusion list, therefore this list are likely all being excluded from cashback.
Also although price is in AUD they do charge international transaction fees, perhaps it’s all processed out of AU.

  • Is the national/regional JR pass not worth anymore? What you recommend for a couple of weeks covering Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, etc.?

Is it not worth even after the cashback and cheaper to purchase individual tickets on the spot at the station itself?
