They would be better off coming in at a lower price point and capturing more of the market. Also, release it on the Nintendo Switch, not having it on the NSW is a missed opportunity.

If I could pick up an AFL game for 5 to 10 bucks at any video game store like FIFA, NBA, etc. I'd have a good few.
Unfortunately I can't, and that's why I'm still playing AFL 2005 on my RG556.
Personally the games sucked after the PS2 gen anyway for me, but ignoring that, their prices are insane.

I think I only had the AFL alive games back in the day but I remember them being amazing.
Still pricey but given gifting from Argentina and Turkey is pretty much no longer a thing probably the time to jump on this one if you’ve been waiting for Pro team to finally launch.

A few cricket games have made its way to Game Pass/Ultimate (Xbox - Cricket 19/22/24 and PC 22/24).
AFL has not been on Game Pass/Ultimate.
Looks like the recent cricket and AFL games are published by Nacon and developed by Big Ant Studios. They're probably expecting the AFL game to sell well enough to not have them apart of a subscription service.

A better time to launch pro team might have been in 2023. Like the title of the game. As with Cricket 24 and Ross’ utter shite social media etiquette, and the shitshow of a launch of this game, the even better time to jump in would be never.
